You Need the Right Kind of Dough.
Overall good novelty product. Get creative, these can be versatile. Make sure to use a good cookie dough that will hold its shape during baking. Fun to decorate.

Pros
Easy to use, durable
Cons
Smaller then I anticipated
Like a lot of my purchases, I purchased this item for a bachelorette party as well. I was going to make penis shaped sugar cookies, then coat them with pink frosting, and use chocolate sprinkles on the balls to look like hair. I was really excited about it, and when they came, I didn't realize how small 'mini' was. They are pretty small. They are cute though. They are bent in different ways, and are kind of fun to play with. There is also a set of boobies in there, but I didn't use that cookie cutter.
Well, I got lazy and decided to use a already made sugar cookie dough from the grocery store. Unfortunately the dough spread too much in the oven, and the cookies lost their shape. I'm sure if you used a good sugar cookie dough, the cookies would hold their shape better. You could also try using it to cut out ready made brownies.
Even though my cookies lost their shape, and looked a bit deformed, I still frosted them with a fleshy pink colored cream cheese frosting, that I made, and then sprinkled the chocolate sprinkles where the balls were. The girls at the party knew what they were supposed to be, and giggled that I had tried to make them look like little peckers. So even if they spread out during baking, and get a bit odd looking, people will still be able to get the idea of what they are.
If I use them again, I am going to be really careful with which kind of dough I use, because this product would have worked great. You just need to play around with them, and be creative. You could also use them on clay, or play dough and cut out little shapes, let them dry, and decorate them, glue magnets or safety pins on the back, and use them as favors.
