Very lifelike....almost
If you're in to arts and crafts (and maybe even a little BDSM), this may be the product for you!

Pros
Realistic-looking replica; Lots of laughs in the creation process
Cons
Smells like plastic; So-so vibrations; Difficult creation process
The Clone-a-Willy arrives in a rather large plastic tube with cartoon-like illustrations. This is, perhaps, a step up from realistic pictorial shots and pretty much lets you know that, from the beginning, you are going to need a sense of humor participate in this arts and crafts project.
The instructions are fairly clear, but I am not sure that they accurately prepare the "users" for the mess that ensues. I had consulted the Internet prior to purchase, so I certainly expected some of the potential pitfalls of the product. Mainly, my biggest complaint is the timing factor and the mess that is created.
For starters, almost everything you need is included in the kit, however, you will need duct tape for this project (this is outlined in the instructions, but not necessarily mentioned on any of the sites I consulted). The plastic tube is part of the mold, but it needs to be trimmed for the appropriate length -- the trimming process creates sharp edges that need to be cushioned with duct tape. In my opinion, this is a critical step -- no one wants to damage the real thing making a fake one! Then a concoction is created using warm water and the included mix. Here's the difficult part: the "clonee" needs to be ready as soon as the concoction is mixed, and, needs to be inserted and stay hard for about a minute and a half. As a woman, the idea of placing myself in a warmish tube goo isn't very sexy, but it seemed to be OK.
I highly recommend performing the insertion process in a bathroom or the kitchen: think slick flooring surfaces rather than carpet. The overflow isn't bad, but I ruined a towel and don't think it would have come out of the carpet.
After removing the "model," we let the mold dry overnight and then added yet another latex concoction and inserted the vibrator. Placing the vibrator was the next level of difficulty. It was rather difficult to get everything centered correctly, but things worked out in the end. The final result was an impressive replica - provided your lover's penis is made from latex and smells like plastic.
What I loved about this product is that it really did make an accurate replica, but it wasn't a great vibrator. The vibrator isn't terribly strong and was a bit noisy. Overall, I liked the product and it makes for a great dildo. We did have a good time making it though :)

Follow-up commentary

I still like this dildo. I love that it is a clone. That said, it still isn't an impressive vibrator -- and yet it will always have a special spot in the toy drawer!
