Unlike the lottery, you're guaranteed to win these scratch-off games
A great early buy in a couple's relationship, 52 Weeks of Kinky Pleasure does add a little spice to what might be a slow or uneventful weekend. We began to look forward and make a date night out of drawing a card from the pouch. However, after having scratched off all of the cards, we started to draw them at random from the bag to keep from throwing them away. Overall, a good value for the price.

Pros
Unknown activities adds expectation and excitement to the week's date night
Cons
Some cards may not be kinky or pleasurable
The 52 Weeks of Kinky Pleasures is a relatively safe introduction into unconventional or kinky sex. For most readers, they may or may not have already progressed beyond many of the weekly activities. So the first critique about this product is that it will be the most enjoyable for new couples that are just getting to know each other’s bodies and sexual preferences. More experienced lovers or long-term couples will most likely have advanced beyond many of the activities and no longer consider them kinky. For those couples, the 52 Weeks of Kinky Pleasures isn't necessarily a bad purchase, but it will have to be used in a more imaginative way. For example, these cards can also be used in conjunction with another game like Lust! or Pleasure Island where these are included in the winner's pot or as random game pieces. For the most advanced kinky players, these cards could be used at an adult themed party.
As for the physical product, 52 Weeks of Kinky Pleasure, it comes in a small cardboard box and contains a black, drawstring sack and the scratch-off cards. All of the cards are about 2-by-3 inches in size and have "For Him" or "For Her" written on them indicating that they are for either a male or female player. There are 52 cards in total. So, only 26 are for men and the other 26 are for women. A somewhat deceptive number since both partners can't use the scratch-off cards each week to total 52 weeks. So, if you want the cards to last all year long, you'll have to alternate each week. It would also be nice if the cards were separated into two bags - one for men and one for women. However, you could just as easily draw the cards out at random. The cards are also bilingual (French). The English words are at the top of each card. Eventually, all of the cards will be scratched-off and used. However, we didn't throw the cards away, but we put them back in the box and would draw them at random every so often when looking to keep the anticipation of game night going.
Scratching off the latex covering is easier said than done, and is perhaps, the only main complaint about this product. The latex coating does not scratch off very easily. During mailing and transportation, the hard coating is fine to preserve the secrets underneath. Unfortunately, if you're not careful when scratching it off, you'll accidentally scratch off part of the writing along with it. If key words or phrases are scratched off, you'll have to fill in the blanks as best as you can. The only other critique I can make about the cards is that some of the activities may not appeal to players at all as being particularly sexy or exciting. For example, one of the cards for a male player was to cover your bodies in oil and give your woman a full body massage without using your hands. Many couples enjoy oil massages but consider them to be more romantic than kinky. Not using your hands adds a little difficulty and spice to it, but it still may not be one of the first things that comes to mind when you think of kinky sex.

Experience
The first card we tried was one that I actually found to not be very sexy. The card read "Nipple Play: Tweak, squeeze, pinch, lick, suck and bite your man's nipples during bedroom play. Vary the pleasures and intensity randomly - you may be surprised he prefers a firmer touch! Tip: if he's adventurous try nipple clamps." Personally, I don't care to have my nipples played with. It's not that I find it unpleasant; it's just not something that I love to do. Many of the tips that go along with the actions can be very fun, but having nipple clamps on isn't something that we had on-hand and wasn't something that I wanted to buy because I knew it wasn't going to light my fire. Luckily, that was one of the least fun cards in the deck, and we had a lot of fun looking forward to what the next week's lottery was going to be.
Follow-up commentary
16 days after original review
We just don't use these cards anymore. We used them a couple of times after scratching them off, but we have other games that are kinkier. So, we quickly outgrew them. However, they were fun while they lasted.
