This isn't very purple....
Maximum impact liquid latex is just not sexy. Even hardcore masochists don't enjoy hairs and skin being pulled off slowly. It could be fun with the proper preparations for a Halloween party but I don't see many uses for it.

Pros
Can be used for costume props
Cons
Painful to remove, terrible smell, irritating
I was completely disappointed with our experience with Maximum Impact liquid latex body cosmetic. The container arrived rather dented, for one thing. Though labelled as fluorescent purple, it is an ugly flesh tone with a hint of purple.
When opened, under the protective seal there was a thick dried layer of the product that was smooth and almost skin-like. We were hoping that would be the final result on our bodies. We were soon disappointed.
It contains ammonia as a stabilizer and preservative and though it only contains 0.3% by volume, the smell is overpowering. Any sensual feeling from the latex being applied is overpowered by the odor. The container states that the odor will disappear as it dries and that this usually takes five to ten minutes. We noticed it took closer to twenty.
This product contains natural rubber latex, which many people can be allergic to. If you do attempt this highly sadistic product, please apply a quarter sized amount over small areas of skin you wish to coat and wait until it dries to see if you experience a reaction. Also, the ammonia in it seems to affect people with sensitive skin as my own personally ended up rather raw.
Application was more difficult than expected. I am not sure if we had a bad batch but it was oddly lumpy and nearly impossible to get an even coat. Skin got pulled together and pinched into awkward positions. It didn't take long before we decided it had to go.
Do not apply this anywhere you have even the slightest amount of body hair. The container states that prior to application, apply a skin prep of glycerin or lanolin type product to help make removal easier. We missed this prior to our play session and ended up in extreme amounts of pain as it peeled off. We both have a high pain threshold but this was too much. I, myself, have sensitive skin and the product irritated it badly. It took more than a couple good showers to fully remove this product.
For now, it sits in the bottom of our toy box. Someday, I hope to find a use for this. Perhaps we will use it at Halloween for a costume prop, it did look rather frightening.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Upon opening it again, despite having been stored in a normal temperature, stable environment, the latex has coagulated. It doesn't seem to want to mix back to a useful consistency and the smell is as bad as ever. It will be headed on its way to the curb.
