The sex game review
The Sex Game is, unfortunately, not terribly creative in its suggestions or innovative in its execution. It might not be a bad way to spend an evening, except for the surprisingly hefty price.

Pros
Super-cute packaging
Cons
Hefty price tag, uninspired suggestions and game play
I picked up The Sex Game|The sex game on a whim, mostly because of its vividly colored and eye-catching packaging. Its tiny box made it just so cute it was irresistible, and I picked it up figuring it would be good for a night’s distraction, if nothing else. The price tag was a little heftier than I had originally anticipated, but I went ahead and got it anyway.
I should say, I am generally not a huge fan of sex games|Adult games, with one or two exceptions. I love the concept behind them, but too often end up shelling out $20-$30 to roll a die, move a marker, and be told to lick my lover’s nipple. Oooh! Like I could not have come up with that on my own!
The Sex Game does not really break this mold or offer up any intriguing surprises. It contains 24 cards, divided into 12 Foreplay Cards and 12 X-Rated Cards. Honestly, I am hard-pressed to figure out the difference between the two. They all consist of a one-line, fill in the blank sentence like “Rub my ________” or “Touch my ________.” Nothing particularly interesting there. The game also contains a spinner and a booklet. The former tells you what to do; the later is a combination of instruction booklet and list of “Probing Thoughts” questions, which are questions or activities you may land on when spinning. The Probing Thoughts questions are mildly more interesting than the cards, in my opinion. They range from disclosing a fantasy to singing a verse from your favorite love song to picking a new sexual position and trying it. Again, better than “Tickle my _______,” but still hardly earth shattering.
The Sex Game will not reveal any deep, dark secrets about your partner or offer any suggestions for new and wild erotic play, but it is not a terrible way to spend an evening. I just think, for the price, you could have much more fun picking up a book of sexual positions|The Best Sex Positions Ever and suggestions and picking something at random. It does not feel to me like a lot of thought went into The Sex Game, and I doubt its ability to significantly spice up your love life.

My original position on this game has not changed--it's really cute, but that's about all. It might make a good "topper" for a shower gift wrapping or something, but you can do much better for the price.
