The sex game review
There are only so many suggestions on the die and they are only one word suggestions. I like games that get into details. I can give my husband a blow-job, but I've done that before.

I happen to be a big fan of sex games. I have tried a few of them, and they usually are pretty fun and add some humor, and sometimes new and exciting ideas to foreplay and sex. That is what I was expecting from The Sex Game, but that isn’t what I got.
The game looked interesting enough because it wasn’t just cards like some games can be. It came with a game board with the layout of a house on it, a six-sided playing die with foreplay suggestions on each side, and an instruction sheet. It also came with a few bonus goodies; two mints and some flavored lube. We decided we would try playing it when we got home.
We unfolded the game board on our bed and read the instructions. Basically, players just roll the die on the board. The suggestion the die says is the act performed and the room it lands on is where it is to be performed. The player who rolls the die is the person the act is performed on/with. Each act has a time limit of two minutes to keep things moving. Pretty easy setup. So we started playing.
My husband rolled first and landed on Solo in the Bedroom. That was convenient enough because we were already in the bedroom and it can be fun to just sit back and watch. After two minutes of his alone time, I rolled the die. I landed on Fondle in the Stairwell. Fondling is nice, but I don’t have a stairwell. So I rolled again and got Fondle in the Laundry Room. And what do you know, we don’t have a laundry room either. This is one problem I had with the game. We live in a small one bedroom apartment. We don’t actually have most of the rooms on the game board. That may not be a problem with a lot of people, but it was my personal frustration.
After a few times of rolling the die on the board and landing on rooms we don’t even have, we decided to ditch the game board and just roll the die. Doing so helped us enjoy the game a bit more, because we didn’t have to keep re-rolling the die. Now for my main problem with the game; it’s, well…boring. There are only so many suggestions on the die and they are only one word suggestions. I like games that get into details. I can give my husband a blow-job, but I’ve done that before. I wanted the game to tell me some new ways to perform the old tricks, add some chocolate syrup or handcuffs or something. So, in the end we tossed the die aside and came up with our own ideas.
My experience with The Sex Game was not a terribly interesting one and a bit disappointing. It may be fun for people with better imaginations (and homes), but not for me so I wouldn't recommend it.

If you haven't already, try "Consenting Adults." Seriously.

What game would you recommend over this OSW?

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, I have Consenting Adults on my wish list, but it's been out of stock for a while. :( It sounds like a good one. And I'll have to think about what my good games are. I honestly haven't been into my games in a while. Maybe I need to dust 'em off and play some of them again.

I just dont see the point of sex board games. There is nothing that the dice is going to tell us to do, that we have not already tried. Good review. Sorry it did not really work out for you guys.
