This deck of 52 cards features all the standard cards in a traditional playing deck, each with a short description about how to spice up your oral sex. It is not specific to any audience except people who perform oral sex on women, so it could be used by either lesbian couples or heterosexual couples. The cards are written in second person, so they don't give the idea that they're specifically designed for males or females, and a matching deck is sold separately of fellatio tips and instructions.



The idea that this is an instructional deck is somewhat of a misnomer, however--it's more of a suggestion deck, which gives ideas of techniques to use on your female-bodied partner. The techniques described involve many areas of the body, not just the vulva. Those who will find this deck most helpful and interesting are beginners, though those with more experience may find value as well.

The deck doesn't come with any instructions and doesn't have any specific game associated with it. Because it is a traditional deck, you could use these in a variety of ways, however. You could play a traditional card game, and the last card played could be the technique you try out; you could just draw a card and try whatever you turn up; you could flip through and find a card you like, or you could have your partner find a card she would like you to try on her. There are no winners or losers per se, though if you find a new technique that works for you both, you're both winners, right?

One interesting thing I didn't anticipate about these cards is that they are not purely cunnilingus cards as the name on the deck implies. They all do involve oral stimulation in some fashion, but not all of the acts are cunnilingus. Eleven of the cards (mostly of the hearts suit) instead depict analingus or anal penetration with fingers or toys.

The front of the card box has an open clam with a pearl inside, with the words "Getting and Giving Amazing Cunnilingus Instructional Deck" printed on the front, meaning these cards are not at all discreet. The box and cards are made of nice, fairly heavyweight cardboard, and are of comparable quality to most traditional decks of playing cards. They have a glossy finish and the same photo on the backs of the cards as is on the box, with "Amazing Cunnilingus" printed on each card. Both sides have the web address for Zero Tolerance, the manufacturer, printed on them. On the front of each card is a light pink patterned background, with the technique printed in the foreground. The print is clear and easy to read.



Some of the techniques have names that might make you and your partner giggle ("The Steaming Diamond", "Chinese Field Goal"), but overall the tone of the cards is fairly serious. Most of the cards have very large, easy to read print, though a couple of the techniques with longer explanations have smaller print so that the full description will fit on the card. I found a typo on one card, but the rest seem to be correctly printed. Because of their small size, this deck is travel-friendly.

More than half of these cards are not novel and seem as though the author may have run out of ideas. They depict pretty standard oral sex techniques, such as face-sitting, 69, back and forth motions, and using a flat tongue. A few of the techniques are so well-known but have such little success that they've become cliches (writing the alphabet with your tongue, humming). If someone is truly a beginner, however, many of the cards this deck could be very helpful.

I felt like some of the techniques were a little repetitive as well--I don't know what the difference is between using your tongue inside her vagina like a jackhammer and a jackrabbit. I did like that the cards addressed lesser-known erotic spots such as the anterior fornix (area above the cervix) and the U spot (between clit and vaginal opening) and thought that for those more experienced with oral sex who'd like to take it to the next level, those were probably two of the most valuable cards.

Some of the cards that involved analingus and cunnilingus seemed frankly not safe from an infection standpoint, or were questionable for other reasons. One suggested licking down a woman's back and spreading her butt cheeks to see whether she is open to oral-anal play. I feel as though if that isn't something you've previously discussed, spreading someone's butt cheeks isn't the most polite way to ask them. A few others suggested starting at the anus and licking to the clitoris or alternating between orally stimulating the anus and clitoris. It makes no mention of using barriers or proper cleaning if engaging in analingus, which is an unfortunate oversight.





Those things aside, there are a few cards in here that do have interesting, unique ideas, and they could be especially helpful for shy partners to communicate something they'd like to try.
