Sexy (Porn Star) Women
The Third Degree Playing Cards include lots of sexy models that are wearing lots of pretty clothing. There's minimal nudity, body-flattering poses, and lots of sexy women.
Published:
Pros
Body-flattering posing, moderate nudity, sexy lingerie, attractive pictures
Cons
Lots of fake breasts, fish face, not amazingly high quality
The Third Degree Playing Cards are a set of playing cards from Evolved Novelties. This is a 54 card set since two jokers are included. Aside from the two jokers, this is just your average playing card deck. All of the models included are models from Evolved Novelties (which is known as "Zero Tolerance" for adult movies). The playing cards are average in size. All of the models in this set are clothed - not naked. The cards are made from average cardboard and can be used to play any card games that the average card deck can do.
The playing cards come tightly packaged in a regular playing card box. The box does show some of the women on the cards, so the box is not discreet. However, the box works really great for storage and will allow you to keep the cards from getting hurt.
We once had a naked playing card set. It was just not a pleasant experience. Once you bring nudity into the picture, photographs start to focus purely on the genitals/breasts and not on the woman as an entire package. It's not pleasant to look at then. That's why we've been sticking to playing cards that have the women clothed. Yes, it's pretty scantily clothed, but at the same time, it leaves a lot more to be suggestive instead of just putting it all out there.
All of the women in this deck are of model-like quality. You will see some famous faces like Sasha Gray and Jenna Haze along with quite a few other adult stars. All of the women are pretty young in age (twenties or so) and have the porn star bodies. Quite a few of the women have fake breasts which was a bit of a turn off. Most of the cards just have one woman on them, a couple have two on them, and a couple have group shots. If I had to guess, I'd guess that these shots are some of those promotional shots that companies take during a porn movie and usually include in a "gallery" as a special feature. There is no listing of clothing or adult names in the box; you just have to know who they are or you're just not going to know. It looks like some of the models are repeat models (I honestly can't tell), but there are no repeat pictures.
What the women are wearing is questionably defined as "clothing". For the most part, I'd consider most of it as bathing suits instead of clothing. (On that note, quite a few of the cards take place in beach/pool.) There are a lot of high heels, short shorts, thongs, see-through tops, bras, and thigh-highs. The card showcase lots of naked breasts. There is no showing of the female genitals, but there's quite a few naked butts. For the most part, it's all done in a classy fashion without seeming crass.
I like how the models were modeled. (Literally.) The photographer who was taking the pictures wanted to show the women off in a pleasing manner instead of just as an orifice which is what some naked playing cards get reduced to. The women's bodies look attractive, they look natural, and they look like they are comfortable. The photographer did a great job.
My biggest complaint? What the boyfriend called the "Fish face". Almost all of the models are posed sexily, but their mouths are hanging open like "Oops? Am I not wearing pants?" Almost all of the models have that awkward, mouth-open look that kinda makes them look more like sex dolls than human beings. For a deck of cards, I feel like an abnormally large amount of the cards had that face.
The cards are of average quality. They aren't like the average "poker" set of cards you'd pick up at your local store, but they work relatively well. They just aren't amazing firm. They aren't too thin of cardboard, but they aren't thick either. Each card has a silver border that includes what card it is with the model in the center of the border doing her thing.
The cards are a nice set of cards. They aren't amazingly high quality, but they have enough quality to withstand quite a few playings. The models, although cursed with fish face, are pretty attractive and are wearing quite a few sexy items. Because there isn't a lot of full-on nudity, this would work fine for playing with the guys/girls without making people too uncomfortable. I'm liked the Zero Tolerance playing cards more than this set, but this set is a close second.

Follow-up commentary

I still like this deck of cards. It's not my favorite out of all of the Evolved playing cards, but it's still a good deck of cards that looks really nice and has held up to being played with frequently.
