Revisit childhood memories!
While I enjoyed sharing this MAD LIBS book with my husband, the only disappointment that I encountered was the lack of stories and how easily the pages come apart. This is the reasoning for my 4 star rating. Otherwise, $3.99 is a decent investment for a night full of laughs. The story blanks can be filled in with anything your heart desires! Feeling crazy, silly, or reserved? This booklet has a blank for everything.

Pros
Fun, Silly, Bursts of laughter, Simple, Instructions included.
Cons
Only 21 stories available, fragile booklet, pages easily come apart.
Growing up, I remember the giggles we’d have when playing with the MAD LIB booklets. We’d enter silly words, none of which made any sense and it kept us entertained for hours. Even now, I enjoy sitting with my own kids and revisiting these memories.
I discovered the adult MAD LIBS, “He loves me, He loves me not”, in November while browsing the adult games section on EdenFantasys. Unfortunately, this book seems to be discontinued now and I’m glad that I had the chance to purchase the booklet before they were gone! Not to fret, EdenFantasys offers it’s consumers another version of the classic game! It would be great if more versions were available for purchase.
This game can be enjoyed alone as well as with others. Hosting or attending a ladies night out? Maybe, it’s raining outside and you want to cuddle up next to your partner. Introducing this game can turn a boring evening into a contagious laughable event.
If you need help refreshing your memory on MAD LIB game instructions, they are located in the beginning of the book after the first page.
"RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS: In this table you will find stories containing blank spaces where words are left out. One player, the READER, selects one of these stories. The READER does not tell anyone what the story is about. Instead, he/she asks the other players, the WRITERS, to give him/her words. These words are used to fill in the blank spaces in the story.
TO PLAY: The READER asks each WRITER in turn to call out words - an adjective or a noun or whatever the space calls for - and uses them to fill in the blank spaces in the story. The result is a MAD LIBS game. When the READER then reads the completed MAD LIBS game to the other players, they will discover that they have written a story that is fantastic, screamingly funny, shocking, silly, crazy or just plain dumb - depending upon which words each WRITER called out."
MAD LIBS Quick Review:
In this section, you will find the definitions of adjectives, adverbs, nouns, and verbs. I found this section very helpful as it’s been awhile since I’ve been in school.
QUOTE from booklet:
*An ADJECTIVE describes something or somebody. Lumpy, soft, messy, and short are adjectives.
*An ADVERB tells how something is done. It modifies a verb and usually ends in “ly”. Modestly; stupidly, greedily; and carefully are adverbs.
*A NOUN is the name of a person, place or thing. Sidewalk, umbrella, bridle, bathtub, and nose are nouns.
*A VERB is an action word. Run, pitch, jump, and swim are verbs. Put the verbs in past tense if the directions say PAST TENSE. Ran, pitched, jumped, and swam are verbs in past tense.
*When we ask for a PLACE, we mean any sort of place: a country, or city, or a room.
An EXCLAMATION or SILLY WORD is a sort of funny sound, gasp, grunt, or outcry, like Wow!, Ouch!, Whomp!, Ick!, and Gadzooks!
When we ask for specific words, like a NUMBER, a COLOR, an ANIMAL, or a PART OF THE BODY, we mean a word that is one of those things like a seven, blue, horse, or head.
When we ask for a PLURAL, it means more than one. For example, cat is pluralized as cats.
END QUOTE:
There are 21 different MAD LIB games to play in this booklet and I wish there were more. You can easily go through most if not all of the games in one sitting so I tried to spread them out so that it would last longer. MAD LIBS is a great mood enhancer if you’re feeling low, board, silly, “dirty”, etc.
I enjoyed grabbing a glass of ice tea and sitting outside on the swing. Armed with my MAD LIBS and a pencil, I sat there working on these games. Of course, I live in the country so I could laugh loudly with no one around asking me what I was laughing about. With my husband at work and my children in school, I was free to be as silly as I wanted to be!
Of course, I did save some of the games to fill out while my husband was home. We had a good time filling in the blanks together and with the right words, one thing led to another. Intimacy is much more rewarding when you both are in a great mood and happy.

Experience
I personally loved this booklet and set my alerts for similar items. The price of this booklet was $3.99 which is the standard rate for most MAD LIB books. You can always try to create your own MAD LIB stories while waiting for the new booklets to be announced. However, where else are you going to fill in the blanks with a classic, “Love poems make you weak in the ‘toes’.” Or “Romantic recipe for sexy pancakes that will appeal to your guy’s taste sheets and make his ‘penis’ water.”?

I still like it and I'm glad that I used pencil on a majority of the stories. This way, I could work on new stories! I just wish that there were more pages and several varieties to purchase on Eden.
