I have to admit, I thought that a sex board game would be cheesy even going into the process of reviewing this one. I fretted a bit about the selection but I was pretty eager to inspect the game once it finally arrived. Incidentally, my boyfriend and I are pretty big fans of board games but we didn't yet own an adult one. One thing I've noticed is that it is a rare board game that offers real innovation on any subject. Unfortunately, this game is no exception.

Sexy Slang is basically a combined Pictionary and charades with naughty words and phrases as the prompts. The package comes with a deck of cards, dry erase board, markers, a score pad, and a timer. Basically, it is full of inexpensive objects to add value to the game but that really just round out a pretty simple premise.

Nonetheless, we gathered some friends and began to play. Some of the words and phrases were pretty amusing and sparked great conversation. They are things that I probably wouldn't have thought of so, in some ways, the content offered by the game was unique and engaging.

Unfortunately, the game play itself was pretty predictable. I'd definitely classify this more as naughty and risque instead of actually a sex game. There are no elements of the game that directly lead to physical contact or sex play, just lots of ideas to get the creative juices flowing.

Overall, I can't say that the game doesn't delivery. It describes itself as charades and it certainly is. Depending on how slack you are with the rules, a particularly vigorous round of charades might get you a bit worked up. Overall, this game is just meant for fun among open friends. What you do after you play, of course, is up to you.
