I don't know about the affair part, but we certainly get hot playing this game.
This is a great game for an established couple looking to spice up their evenings. Not meant for new couples or those whose sexual interests fall well outside the mainstream, this game is ideal for adventurous couples who want to add intrigue and titillation to their lives. The best thing I could possibly say about this game is that it is so much fun and so arousing, that you can't wait for it to end so you can get to the bedroom (if you can make it that far) to fulfill your fantasies.

Pros
Lets you get your kink on, Promotes intimacy and passion, Very professional
Cons
Not for non-hetero couples, No option for playing with multiple couples
I was in the market for a board game to play with my wife, and after looking at several games, I decided on this one. I have not been disappointed. It never fails to get us really worked up, and it lasts just long enough for us that we are finishing the game just when we can't take it anymore and want to move to the bedroom (or whatever room).
I'll admit, I like this game more than my wife does, but that is because of the drinking involved. I wouldn't call this a drinking game, per se, but there are ample opportunities to drink while playing, and one can become inebriated fairly quickly. Of course, the actual amount you drink is up to you, from a sip to a gulp, so how inebriated one gets is really a function of how much someone drinks at a time and what they are drinking.
Inside the box comes the playing board, detailed instructions, one standard six-sided die, three sets of "Hot Affair" cards, one set of "Fantasy" cards, two pole-like playing pieces, and six pairs of rings that fit over the playing pieces. Each of these items sits in nested pockets in the box's plastic insert. I do wish the card-holding pockets were a bit deeper though, so that the top few cards didn't slide around. All items appear to be constructed well, as everything is in mint condition, despite being used a half dozen or so times in the year-and-a-half we've had it.
The stated goal of the game is pretty straightforward: the first person to move his/her playing piece around the board six times wins. Of course, the real goal of the game is to get quite aroused. The board's playing surface is a circle, broken up into 27 squares. Moving around the board by traveling the number of spaces indicated on the rolled die takes you to any of eight types of squares (Kiss, Food, Drink, Strip, Hot Affair Square, Erotic Dancing, Erogenous Zone, and Massage Parlor). All but Drink and Strip become increasingly more intimate as the game progresses. Each time you pass "Go", you collect a ring (two pink, then two purple, then two red) to place on the playing piece and a "Fantasy" card. You may only keep two "Fantasy" cards in your hand at any one time, and whoever is the first to collect all their rings (i.e., go around the board six times) gets to choose which of the two fantasies to live out that evening. There are also other optional game rules listed in the instructions, but they involve going slower or faster than the normal rules.
The "Hot Affair" cards bear special mention. Each card has a "For Him" and a "For Her" option, and as you progress around the board through the pink, purple, and red levels, these "Hot Affair" cards become kinkier. In many ways, these cards are like a scripted "Truth or Dare" game that most of us used to play (or if you are lucky, still play). The "truths" enable you to find out more about your partner by asking questions you may not have considered asking. I know in my case, I learned things about my wife that I didn't know after 14 years of marriage, and my wife was surprised to hear some things about me. The "dares" are more than your garden variety dares that you might do with a group of friends. Some are pretty graphic and likely outside your established boundaries, but part of this game involves pushing at those boundaries. Although most of the "dares" are meant to be acted upon during the course of the game, some of them ("Treats") are meant to be done after the game is over, either in the following hours, days, or even weeks. As such, you can extend the hotness of the game well beyond that evening.
This is a game most definitely designed for couples who have explored their sexual relationship fairly extensively. Many of the "Hot Affair" and "Fantasy" cards would likely be awkward for a couple who are just starting out or who are by nature on the prudish side. By the same token, although this game isn't tame by any measure, those couples whose sexual relationship has evolved to be well outside the mainstream might not get much out of it. This is also not a game for non-hetero couples, as it is most definitely geared for one man and one woman. I suppose other types of couples could play, but it would take some tweaking of the body parts mentioned in the "Hot Affair" and "Fantasy" cards. However, for most hetero couples, the game will provide opportunities to try some new things and learn new facts about their partners.

Experience
The last item that bears mentioning is that this is a game for only two people, since there are just two playing pieces. I understand totally why this is the case, as the game is meant to foster intimacy and passion between a couple, but I can't help thinking that this game would also be a lot of fun if more than one couple could play it. Just like how most of us who played "Truth or Dare" likely played it with a group of people, which contributed to how fun it was, I think this game could benefit from this option as well. The only thing really stopping this is the fact that there are just two playing pieces and their corresponding rings, although I suppose it would be possible to do make your own playing pieces (appropriately colored life savers?) should one choose to make this more than a two-player game. We haven't done this yet, but I can see this being a great deal of fun for us and our closest of friends.
