Here, Suck on This!
All around the Jumbo Dicky Sipper is a great five-star cup for any party, gag gift, or just to use around the house and make guests ask "What are you drinking out of!?"
Published:
Pros
Funny, Sturdy, and Easy to hold on to.
Cons
Wobbles and tries to fall on occasion when set down too quickly.
Well, it seems like high time for a review on the Jumbo Dicky Sipper seeing as how there is approximately zero information available for it here on EF. Don't sweat it my friends, I'll let you know what you're buying!
It really is a great cup, much like those you find at the local fair or a tourist shop. Except this one comes to you via your choice of postal services and looks like a giant penis! Well, the top/head of it does anyway. The "Dicky" part of this cup measures in at 20" with an extra inch of straw sticking out the top, giving you a grand total of, that's right, 21". The straw is white as viewed in the picture, and the cup itself is made of hard plastic in sort of a pinky fleshy color, more fleshy than pink but still far from my own skin tone. It still manages to look good though.
The 4" tall and raging 12" around top of the "Dicky," as I prefer to call it, looks very much like a giant head of a penis, so there's really no mistaking what you're drinking out of. The remaining 16" however is smooth and doesn't look very dick-like, with exception of the skin-ish tone. It's 11.5" around at the very bottom of the base, that being approximately 3.66 inches in diameter, which tapers down over the next three inches to a 4.5" radius so it has a fairly average-sized shaft to hold on to. I should mention here that the shaft is not round in the middle, more of an oval or oblong shape until it begins tapering up again to fit the "head" top.
On occasion the Dicky has decided to wobble as I set it down and has fallen over on me, but never spilled, which is one of my favorite parts of the Dicky; No Spill! Now I don't mean it's 100% spill proof, it will "leak" around the top and some out of the straw if you tip it over, but you will not have lots of liquid gushing out onto your floor or carpet. There's plenty of time to grab the cup with minimal leaking. I personally consider a "Spill" to be when it can't be cleaned up with a wash rag but instead you have to grab a towel really fast. I guess I should cover here that it holds about 21 oz. of fluid. Keep in mind this is a guess I reached by pouring in one 16.9oz water bottle, and about a quarter of another of the same size.
The straw fits through the hole in the lid tightly enough that during washing I was able to flip the lid upside down and only a few drops of water came out around the straw. Also its straw not only goes all the way down, but has an angle cut at the bottom so it won't "seal" and prevent liquid from sucking through. Which brings me to a couple more points: It does take some degree of care to put the lid on perfectly as it does like to slip and go crooked, but that's only because it has to go down straight. It doesn't screw on or off, it just uses a small lip with 8 little "dots" around the rim of the cup to allow it to pop on and off. Don't worry, it holds very securely.
Treated properly, this cup should last you for many years! Now washing it can be somewhat of a pain, at least for me, and only because it will not fit into my kitchen sink. Nor will my cup washing sponge-on-a-stick make it to the bottom. I fixed that by using the spray handle that most sinks have and sloshing really hot water around in it for a few minutes. Be careful with your straw though; too much hot water makes it somewhat flimsy, and you don't want it to bend because then it wouldn't make it to the bottom!
It's really a great cup for anyone, male or female, young or old (well, not to an extreme on either count!) All I want now is for them to come out with a Glow-in-the-Dark Dicky; that's something I would have to buy two of!

Experience
Whenever your Dicky cup is running out short on fluid, you will get a mouthful of air through the straw before you get a mouthful of liquid. Nothing bothersome really, but I do try to keep mine topped off to prevent this from happening.
