Have You Been Naughty or Nice?
This kit by Love to Love contains a spanking powder, a set of two dice, and a after spanking cream. While I absolutely love the packaging and artwork, I don't really like the products by themselves. They are more fun when incorporated into other kinds of play, whether it is role play, dominance, or if used with a blindfold and tickler. I got pretty bored within a couple of rounds of simply spanking my partner and he didn't seem all too excited either.

Pros
cute packaging, great artwork, easy to use
Cons
not very gender neutral, scent is strong, contains glycerin, price
My fiancé and I enjoy randomly spanking each other, however we've never really tried a full spanking session. I prefer to be the one doing the spanking, but I did find this kit by Love to Love very cute and interesting looking. I wanted to see if the powder and the cream in this kit really made any difference during spanking.
Before I really get into my review, I'd like to apologize for not having any pictures. I have absolutely no idea where the USB cord for our camera is, so I won't be able to add pictures until I find it.
The powder, cream, and dice come packaged in a large cardboard box that looks and opens like a book. I absolutely love the packaging. Once you take out the plastic tray holding everything in place, there's room to store a few other items inside. All of the artwork on the packaging is done by artist Milo Manara. The front artwork shows a woman bent over with a man about to spank her. Inside of the box, there is a small stapled booklet of 4 pages that gives you basic directions on how to use this kit. The powder is used before spanking to "prepare your playground." The dice suggest a position and amount of spanks. The cream is for afterward, when your partner's rear end is sore and needs to be massaged lightly. The only useful information on the back of the box is the ingredients for the powder and cream. All information provided is presented in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian.
Spank Me Baby is the included spanking powder. It's in a 3.3 ounce plastic bottle exactly like that of baby powder. It measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches around It has 5 small holes in the top for ease of use. There is a cap over these holes so powder does not escape when not in use. The bottle says this is coconut flavored/scented. There is a graphic of a girl on the front as well as the text "Spank Me Baby." The back states this is made in France. The packaging is cute and modern, however it is kind of feminine.
Ingredients:
Corn starch, sucrose, aspartame, sodium bicarbonate, aroma (flavor).
In appearance, this powder is grainy and white. It's a lot more grainy than baby powder or talc body powders. It's easy to dispense from the bottle. I prefer to shake it right onto my fiancé's lower back or rear. The packaging says to just put the powder on, not rub it in, which ends up sending up a light cloud of powder. The scent is like that of baby powder: light and fresh, with a very small hint of flowers. To me, it just tastes like sugar, not coconut. This does contain aspartame, so you may not want to consume very much of it. Aspartame is used as a sweetener in diet soft drinks like Diet Coke.
When I got this on my hand, it did not rub in like a baby powder would. It ended up just kind of sitting there. I have red sheets, so as soon as I put my hand on my bed to adjust my position, I left a huge white hand print on my sheets. This will come out if washed or spot-treated. It also will come off of skin if washed with soap and water. I didn't really notice any more fun in using this powder, aside from the fact that it made his skin taste sweet. It did not add anything to simply spanking him.
Girls Don't Cry is used once you're done spanking your partner. This comes in a small jar with a screw on lid. Under the lid is a plastic piece that can be removed. This just keeps the cream from getting all over the lid when the jar is not sitting with the lid upward. It measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches around and is made of hard white plastic. The front shows a graphic of a girl bent over. The jar contains 1.6 ounces of cream.
Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Isopropyl Palmitate, Parfum (Fragrance), Glycerin, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Sodium Polyacrylate, C18-21Alkane, Squalane, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Starch, Synthetic Fluorphilogopite, Trideceth-6, Citric Acid, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxde), 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Magnesium Nitrate, Plumeria Alba Flower Extract, Methylchoroiso-thiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride, Tropolone, Methylisothiazolinone, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Amyl Cinamal, Citronellol, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alchol.
This contains glycerin, which some people may be sensitive to, however it does not contain parabens or phthalates. I would do a small test on the inside of your arm before use if you are sensitive to creams with heavy fragrances.

Experience
The cream is medium in consistency and easy to apply. I think it's about as thick as yogurt. It is white in color. Once this is applied it will leave glitter all over skin. I like the appearance of the glitter on my body, however I did not care for it on my fiancé. He also did not like it. Once applied, this soaks in and feels dry immediately. It does not feel heavy or greasy on skin. In taste, this is kind of bitter, so I do not recommend ingesting any. The scent is the same as the powder, a fresh, slightly flower powdery scent. It is very heavy and seems to hang around even after washing a few times with soap and water. The glitter disappears after washing.
I don't really care for this. It absorbs too quickly to be beneficial. I think the point of including an after-spanking cream would be to give you something long lasting so your rear end is soothed from being spanked. I also don't like the scent very much. It's strong and overpowering. If you have this on, people will smell it from a few feet away.
Finally, the kit includes two die. One tells you the number of spankings, which are 3, 6, and 12. There are two of each number. These numbers are etched into the die, rather than simply printed on, so they won't get scratched off. The other die has positions for the spankee to assume before their spanks, including across the spanker's lap, bent over all the way, and bent over partially. The images on this die will also not scratch off. Each die is hard plastic and measures about 3/4 of an inch square. We did not use the position die, as we did not really feel the positions were offering much variety. It's also difficult to get a not very flexible/willing man into positions like a female body.
We did not really care too much for this set on its own. It's a bit boring. After a few spanks, I got pretty bored with simply spanking him. However, I think it would be fun if incorporated into other kinds of play. Maybe use a tickler and spank/tickle your partner. A blindfold would also work well with this, since they won't see when it's coming. Any kind of domination or role playing would make this far more interesting than just spanking.
The quality of this kit is okay, though I don't think it's worth $50, especially considering the amount of product you get. I do like the box and the artwork by Manara. I like the designs of the Love to Love products, however they didn't work so well for us since I'm using them on a guy. He did not like the glitter and the heavy powdery scents. I would definitely buy something similar if it were more gender neutral and less pricey.

I'm with you. This seems very pricey. If it were a bit on the more inexpensive end, I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Very nice review!
