A bizarre product that is a whole lot of fun!
Maximum Impact Liquid Latex is pretty amazing. It looks like a regular paint when it's wet, but when it dries it becomes a skin tight latex "suit." It comes in a 16 oz. package that goes a long way for a low price. It is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it!

Liquid latex is . . . well . . . bizarre. It is a body paint that goes on just like a regular paint, but when it dries it hardens into a rubbery latex. Honestly, it's pretty amazing.
Maximum Impact Liquid Latex comes in a round plastic container containing 16 ounces. It's available in 8 different colors. The ingredients are water, 100% virgin latex, and 0.3% ammonia. The ammonia is used to preserve the latex, so it's a necessary ingredient that you will find in all liquid latex products. The only problem is that it reeks when you first put it on. I was pretty surprised that it has such a strong ammonia smell considering it's only 0.3% of the product. The good news is that as it dries the odor goes away quickly, so it's not a big deal. As long as you have a window open or a fan on as you're applying it, it shouldn't be a problem.
Once you take the lid off the container, you'll notice that there's a seal that you have to remove. After you take that off, you're ready to start painting. The first step would be to find an area to do this, because as the container says, this will stain fabrics. Once you have an area set up, it's a good idea to start with a small patch test on the area of your body that you plan on applying it. This is for two reasons. First, it's to make sure that you don't have a bad reaction to the substance. The second reason is that this product does stick to your hair, and it's just a good idea to see what you're getting yourself into before you start slathering it on since when you peel it, it does pull out your hair. Your best bet would probably be to either wax or shave the area ahead of time. The company also says that if you put on a lotion or oil ahead of time, that can help.
Maximum Impact Liquid Latex is very easy to apply. You put it on just like regular paint using a brush, or even a sponge or a rag. When you apply it, you don't want it to be overly thick because it will take a long time to dry, but you also don't want it to be too thin. Put it on just thick enough that you can't see the skin underneath. Once you paint it on, it takes 5-10 minutes to dry. As it's drying, several things happen. First, as I said earlier, the odor goes away. Something else that happens is the latex actually shrinks 3% which gives it a nice skin-tight look and feel. It's part of what makes this product so cool. And the last thing that it does as it dries is it gets darker. I have this in black, and when it's wet it looks like a dark gray. I was a bit disappointed at first, but don't worry because as it's drying it becomes a nice pitch black color.
Once it's dry, you can apply additional coats if you'd like. This isn't necessary, but if you want it really thick, it is an option. Now that the product has dried, it's going to stay put. Unless you're really rubbing up against something, or purposely trying to get it off, it does a nice job of staying on. According to the website www.liquidlatex.com, you can leave the "paint" on for hours and it will not clog your pores or prevent sweating the way traditional paints do.
After you've had your fun, whether it be a costume party or some hot, kinky sex, the next step is to remove the latex. Apparently after wearing it for several hours it will start to come off on it's own. Now, if you don't plan on wearing it for that long, there are two ways to remove it. The first way is soap and water. Just hop in the shower and start scrubbing. The second way is to just peel it off. I like this way much more because it adds to the fun. Have you ever put Elmer's glue on your hand and let it dry before peeling it off? It's kind of like that but on a much bigger scale. It's a very interesting feeling that would probably be a fun thing to try during a sensation play session while you're partner is blindfolded. Once you take it off there's nothing else you have to do. You're skin feels fine and you still have quite a bit of Maximum Impact Liquid Latex waiting for you the next time you want to have some fun!
