A poor choice of theme
This is a good film ruined by bad execution. They portray lasting sexual frustration, to the point of ruining the mood. Good filming and good sex, but it falls short of greatness.

Pros
Variety of sex, with big name actresses.
Cons
A lingering theme of sexual frustration.
To be perfectly honest, I’m not really one for blondes, but the cover on this DVD really drew me in. The photography is good, the actress is hot, and everything looks to be in good order. Unfortunately, this was a case of where you can’t judge a DVD by its cover. This is a film with many high prospects, as it has a wealth of A list stars, including Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, and Jana Cova. The only problem is the theme and execution, which may not sound so bad, but really kills the film.
Let me start by saying that the DVD in itself is very well done. It is shot in high definition (Although, if you ask me it’s a bit too high. Too much detail can sometimes be a bad thing.) The DVD has many special features, including photo galleries, behind the scenes, and bios. The scene skipping is set up very well, so pressing skip brings you to the next position or change. The scene transitions are smooth, and nothing really feels jarring.
As I said before, it’s really the theme that kills this movie. There are many things that can be made into good porn, but sexual frustration just isn’t one of them. The star of the show, Jesse Jane plays a sexually frustrated woman who appears to have lots of sex but has not been able to orgasm for some time. The movie centers on her quest for sexual release. While this may sound like it could work, it’s not done very well. The first “scene” is her playing with a vibrator for around 30 seconds before decreeing it “cold and plastic.” As far as I can tell, the rest of the film is split up into two different kinds of scenes. Every other scene starts with a dialing noise, followed by what seems to be recommendations from other women. These scenes exist outside of the central story, and are actually very good. The other scenes are Jesse Jane trying to apply the advice. After every time she tries to apply it, it ends in failure. She then sighs, rolls her eyes and moves on. This seems really unnecessary, and kills the mood of the entire scene. In the last scene, where she supposedly finds her fulfillment, they add in a cheesy angelic glow and tone. I’m half surprised that they didn’t play the hallelujah chorus.
If you can ignore these shortcomings, it’s actually a decent film. It’s a by the numbers mainstream movie, but done well. The scenes include regular, oral, and anal sex, as well as girl on girl and a threesome. There is also a scene of light bondage/spanking. The best scenes are the ones not related to the story, and they are all done very well. The second full scene with Tory Lane is especially good, with some varied and very acrobatic sex.
Overall, it’s a decent movie, but the theme is very detrimental. If you’re a fan of a particular actress, it’s still a decent buy. Unfortunately it just doesn’t come together well as a whole. If they had focused more on the sexual exploration aspect, it would have been a very good film, but in the end, it was ruined by poor execution.

Follow-up commentary

An ultimately forgettable film, with very little redeeming value. It really hasn't been off the shelf much since the review, and I don't see much reason for it to. The only thing that still sticks out in my mind is the disappointing filler ruining a perfectly good film. It's a shame, really.
