Actually, yes. I totally would. I still see a gap in the glass market for the sort of toy that I'd like to own. While I have actually worked with glass, I've only used the "cold working method" (simplified explanation: gluing glass to other glass, then putting it in the kiln). I hope to take a class in glass blowing some day.

YES!!!!!!!! I am an artsy type by nature, and have plans for making glass, wood, and ceramic toys!! After a forum thread I read on here about stone dildos, I also joined the local rock shop / museum, and as soon as I have time, I will be making a polished stone toy.

My boyfriend and I have been getting together basic BDSM gear that can be easily made/assembled at home.

After seeing an adult film in which a dominatrix penetrated a slave with a dildo on the end of a pole, I wanted to try it. I searched online, but couldn't find anything except as part of a very expensive fucking machine. So I took a new broom handle and a dildo we got with my wife's first strap-on harness and I made something very much like what I'd seen in the film. We still have it and it still works great (and it's fun).

I also wanted a bed restraint system which utilized handcuffs. I wanted it to be basically instantly available, but hidden under the mattress when we weren't using it. Again I search and didn't find, so I bought a pair of handcuffs and a pair of leg cuffs, cut them up and made my restraint system. It, too, works great and is a lot of fun.

I'd like to make something that I could use to attach dildos to a wall using something similar to the ring/snap setup on many harnesses. It would be more secure than a suction cup and would also work for dildo w/o a suction cup.

I don't have the materials, and I feel more safe getting things from an expert, but it might be cool to have something personal and unique. There is just too much I don't know and I'd be worried about some sort of mistake.
