Color - I refuse to get realistic colored things, and I really dislike pink as well.
Material - I will never get anything that's not body safe/porous, like Jelly.
Reviews - to see if it's good or not. I want to know how strong and loud it is

What DOESN'T influence my decision is the top whatever ranking, as it is often nonsense. In priority I would say it's material, reviews, manufacturer, price, and finally color.

Material, size, and shape are the big three for me. After that comes the reviews (particularly on strength if it's a vibe), then price and color. Seeing it's from a company I favor can definitely sway me, as well.

I look at a combination of things, but I would say the most important to me are the reviews. If it does not have many reviews, I will decide based on price if I want to take a chance on it or not. I do look at the material- I do have certain preferences, but I will not rule any toy out because it is made of something that is not my favorite. I just like to know in advance if it is something that requires a lot of extra effort to keep clean or not. I do not care so much about what the color is. Certain colors are a plus, but there isn't any one color that I stay away from. I really do not care at all about the name or site rank. And as far as the manufacturers go, I do have my favorites.

I want to say all of the above for us as well, but there is a definite ranking to the criteria. First is material; if it isn't safe and can't be sterilized, the other factors don't matter. Next are reviews, then color, and so forth.

SIZE is number 1. I have to be able to use it first and foremost.
Materials- I don't buy below a certain safety level.
Reviews- If people I know that have similar preferences that I do say that it's not strong enough for them or too buzzy for them then I know it would be the same for me.

Materials is the big one for me. I don't even look at toys that don't meet my materials standards.
Manufacturer is big, too. I tend to stay away from manufacturers I don't trust to provide accurate material information.
Reviews, of course, are crucial. I would have no damn idea what to buy if it weren't for reviews.

First, it must be a body safe material from a quality manufacturer. Second I look at size and shape to see if it is something that would be suitable for our needs. Then I read reviews to help narrow down my choices and make my purchase decisions.
