I put my toys in the extras box I have and think of ways to adapt them to suit our purposes. I have come up with great additions that make a non-pleasurable toy amazing or add a bit to a good (not great) toy to make it fantastic. Of course there are the ones that never make it, but usually we can find something to do. How about you? What are some of your ideas?
What do you do with the toys that don't work for you?

We recently cleaned out our toy box. Usually, if I spend a lot on a toy and it does not live up to our expectations, it will get sent back or if they can be sterilized, it will get passed on to friends/family.
I had lots of good intentions with some toys (I wanted to take bullets out of a few) and a lot of unopened duplicates (mostly the free EF toys). The unopened duplicates I will let my friends dig through, but all the rest that we decided was garbage finally went into the trash. My toy box is organized and we can get at the toys we like much easier now!

I've thrown away several toys that I didn't love or got bored with. They were all materials that couldn't be sterilized so trash was the only option really. I have cut an egg bullet out of a jelly toy that I liked the vibrations for, but disliked the outer material.

we try to find a way to use them. And if that fails, they go in the garbage.

I recently sold a toy I bought thinking it would be larger (what I was thinking?! the length was posted) to a friend. It would be fine if I didn't already have something very similar. I didn't use it so she didn't even have to sanitize it. She loves it. At least I could make a woman sexually happy in that way!

I just throw them out or offer them if they can be sterilized.

I keep them and just put them in a box under the bed

As I really, really love to collect them, even if they don't work for us, I do keep them around. We recently moved all of my toys into a hamper that don't get used regularly. All of the jelly is in baggies, so the materials should be safe, but I'm keeping an eye on it. So we basically keep all of ours around still.

Some were thrown away, but I do have a few still sitting in the back of my toy drawer.
