anyone else on this site still a virgin? if so, then why? (& by virgin, i mean have never had actual intercourse, since i know everyone has a different opinion on what virginity is). i plan on waiting till i'm married to have actual intercourse to avoid having any possible regrets. i still fool around & love getting naked w/ my bf, but his penis stays out of my vagina.

I am. I'm like you in the sense that I love getting naked and fooling around with my bf

I'm not a virgin, and though my first sexual encounter was a complete fiasco, I'm incredibly glad that I got it over with. Since then, I've been able to have sex with people that I love and care about, and honestly, I don't ever regret any of my partners. Some were stupid, but if anything, it was a lesson to be learned and I grew from it.
I feel that I've been able to have more complete and loving relationships because I have sex. But it works differently for everyone, I guess.

I'm not a virgin. I'm about to marry the man I lost it to though.

I am. Just haven't found anyone to do it with I guess. I'd like to, but I'm picky and am not gonna do it with just anyone. It will be with someone safe that I care about (even if just a friend, but someone I know won't turn around and hurt me afterwards or use it against me).

I'm a virgin, largely due to shyness in the dating realm. I've never even fooled around, but I've got no plans whatsoever to wait until marriage once I do find someone I'm comfortable with. I don't view virginity as anything sacred or especially important, so what's there to regret?

I'm a virgin who simply has not had the opportunity to go any further than kissing when it comes to being with another person. I'm a busy college student who does not like to enter into short-term relationships.
That being said, I find that masturbation is a godsend. I am able to explore my sexuality on my own terms and on my own time, learning what it is I like so that when I do finally have sex, I won't be going in blind. As it has been so beautifully said by Betty Dodson, "Your first and most important sexual relationship is with yourself."

Im a Virgin. Just a really shy guy. I have been so afraid to talk with women in the relationship area. Last girl I had a crush on had gotten into a relationship right after we went to prom together. It just seemed like it was nothing and it was obvious I liked her, and then while she was house sitting for me she went joy riding in my car with a group of stoners and shot up houses with a pellet gun killing a cat in the process. I wouldn't say I'm naive, but a trusting person with a conniving manipulater is bad mix. Now I have to question myself, but I'm so glad I didn't go into relationship with her. Being completely honest I haven't even had my first kiss.

I honestly, not to be rude, don't see why people think it's morally right to do everything BESIDES intercourse. It's like sex is some taboo.. but giving head isn't. I just don't quite understand people like that. And I didn't read through the whole thread, so sorry if I've offended anyone. Not my intention, feel free to explain to me what you think.

I definitely think there is a taboo about girls losing purity in a lot of communities in our nation alone. It's sad, but for a person to make that decision that they aren't ready is always smart. I just don't like the idea that giving yourself completely to your husband means to some people that you have to also give them your virginity.

I'm obviously not a virgin. (I have three kids and I'm married, but I had sex long before I got married.)

I have to say, I don't see sex as the woman "giving" to a man and a man "taking" from a woman. I see that as sexist.
Sex is about sharing, and loving and having a good time together.
When someone decides to have sex is their business. But, I think love is a good reason to want to make love with that person.
I don't recognize "virginity" as a "thing" that is to be valued. I don't see what difference it makes, if you've ever had sex with a person or not. When you find the right person, then you stay with that person. What difference does it make what you did before?
JMO. Mileage.

I feel that way too. It's funny on EF forums everyone agrees that sex isn't a "thing", probably because of the nature of the platform, it being a sex based site.

On the other hand, if you talk to other people about the sex they make you feel ashamed about being sexually active with more than one person in your lifetime. Hell, some people like having more than one partner at THE SAME TIME. And who are we to judge?
