Look what I found! These retro plugs were advertised as rectal dilators.

The old newspaper looks so funny today. And other toys were advertised as medical doodads: vibrators or “horse riding” toys were needed to stop the hysteria.

I would try one by one, and I'd begin with “horse riding”.

Hi, RetroFun! Thanks for such an amusing post- it's adorable! I personally was thinking about searching for vintage sex toys for a long time now. At first it was for fun, and later on, I thought to myself - wouldn't it be nice to know how different they are from what we have today? However, I don't see here the one I was keen to find the most - I'm guessing it's something like an old-school wand massager -

I prefer modern items. But... retro - for history and fun!

I have a vintage chastity belt - it's quite bulky but oh so perfect - I love it. It feels much more... kinky than the modern ones.
I also recently got as a gift a metal anal hook that's like from 1960s - so excited to try it
