I have yet to discover a preferred brand nor understand why I should. some people have a preferred product brand - what is it & why?

I think that it's just something a lot of people do when it comes to products. I like Neutrogena face products, not because I've tried all face products and they are 100% the best, but because they work best out of the like 3 brands I've tried.

It's the same with sex toys. If I have the choice between Tantus and SexProcucts Novelties, I'm going to go with Tantus. I have had many great experiences with them and know about the company, while I don't know anything and have never tried anything from SexProducts Novelties.

We-Vibe, Je Joue, Jopen and LELO. Because they all offer really nice, high quality, rechargeable items with POWER! The first LELO line wasn't my favorite but I love the new line. I want something that has safe material and lots of power!

I haven't tried a ton of brands but out of what I've tried I absolutely love Tantus. I think it's like what Ryuson said, people find something they like and tend to stick with it.

I don't tend towards brand loyalties. I choose products based on its specs and reviews on EF, not the company that makes it. My favorite dildo, vibrator, and anal toys are from three different companies!

I agree! The performance/features of the toy comes first, brand isn't the biggest deal to me. But I do have a little bit of an obsession with Zini, I think their toys are really great.

Brand loyalty is common because you develop a sense of reliability and expectations of what something can come with. We're human, we like a little bit of consistency in our consumer nature =)

I second this. I'm not too much of a brand loyalist when it comes to most things, sex toys included, but I find that a few companies in particular produce winners consistently, so I'm more likely to buy from them. But I certainly won't turn down a toy just because it's not from one of these companies.

Vixen Creations is probably my favorite company overall (though it's a tough race). I just really love their VixSkin silicone and they also make my favorite toy, as well as one of the runner-ups.

This. Yes.

Plus, I think we all have a little bit of a collector gene deep down. I know I find myself getting things from certain brands just to go with the rest of my collection.

My collection is fairly small, but I do like Tantus, Vixen Creations, FUn Factory, and Sliquid. If I buy toys or lube that I like, I tend to gravitate to the same company.

Having collected all their wands, njoy may now be at the top for me. My first real brand loyalty feeling went to Lelo, though (bought their stuff since 2008), and I also really like Tantus and Vixen. Fun Factory is the other brand I trust, though I am not interested in all of their stuff and they seem to produce a lot to see what sells.

The vibe I would most recommend to others is from we-vibe, but I don't want to try their other vibes. Hate their silicone, love their plastic.
