is there any one else that

is there anyone else that plucks their pubes? I pluck mine because shaving leaves ingrown hairs and little razor bumps, plucking makes me super smooth and it takes a real long time for the hair to grow back when plucked.

I know a lot of people wax, sugar, or epilate. Those all are mass-plucking techniques. Personally I shave right now, other methods are hard to keep up in a dorm.

I dont wax, wax is sticky and messy and doesnt pull all the hairs out that well. its more of a hassle than anything. epilate pinches and i dont like my cootch being pinched. not sure what this sugar thingy is though? I pluck with tweezers does anyone else do this?

Sugaring is very similar to waxing, just a little safer (temperature doesn't have to be as high) and easier to clean up (water-soluble as opposed to wax). I don't have the patience to even tweeze my eyebrows, I don't think I could tweeze the whole area by hand.

Never tried sugaring and now interested. Thanks, MaryExy, for mentioning it

I'm as well rather lazy to even pluck my eyebrows sometimes, so as for my pubic area - shaving is my favorite

So you pluck each individual hair?! That must take forever! I have waxed but... Well idk if this is a myth but I noticed that I had decreased sensitivity during sex so I stopped. Now I use this stuff called Coochy Protection (you can find it on my page in my reviews) and it takes care of the shaving issue.

I do pluck a few here and there, but mostly I use my epilator.

I knew someone who did this, she's a masochist though. I don't think it was because she preferred the results of the method, just the pain that came with it. I don't pluck anything and I tried the wax thing, but it was so painful I had to stop half way through. I just shave.

i plucked 1 hair once to see what it felt like, & decided that i would not be able to handle doing the rest. plus i feel it would take too long for me.

Everyones skin will react differently to whatever method is used..I go to a salon and get waxed, tried it at home but didn't like the results

I shave or wax and if there's a few stray hairs then I'll pluck.

Yes. I started plucking a year ago and would pluck every single hair! Now I use an epilator and tweezers when a few strangers show up and epilating is totally necessary. I started plucking so I could get used to the feeling and be able to use an epilator. It really wasn't even necessary as the epilator is less painful, but I wanted to be sure I could handle the pain. Lol

I tried sugaring too and it never did work out for me. It always left a lot of hair behind and bruised the hell out of me every time. Epilating is 100% a much better option.

Also, lenore, plucking actually causes more ingrown hairs than shaving.
