How we store our toys and what it says about us and our lives.

Are your toys stored in an area which is difficult to access, or do you store them so they can be easily retrieved at a moments notice. Possibly, you may feel you’ve accomplished both security, and accessibility. Others, may like to store toys in displays, as pieces of art, or unashamed comfort as to who they are.

I don’t believe in right or wrong answers. Each of us have different, or evolving circumstances which dictate choices. This could be that time when your raising children, or later in life when they are gone. Maybe your in a relationship without children, but it’s not a committed relationship. So, many possible circumstances.

I have 2 stacks of Rubbermaid drawers in my closet that I use for storage. I have a basket that sits on top of the drawers that I have the free wipes and cockrings in the basket. Items that are still in their original packaging (boxes) that doesn't fit in the drawers are stored on top of them. I have several toys that are on my headboard of my bed as well.

When I am my cousin's I have them in a bag

We keep the ones we use most in our bedside table (which is really a cabinet), and the others in a locking chest at the foot of the bed. We do have company fairly regularly, and when they're here, we keep all of them in the locking chest.

I'm not sure what that says about us! We're discreet but practical, maybe?

Mine are in a big wicker basket I store under my bed. It's important that it has a lid, but mostly it's just the right size, and it being under my bed seemed like the logical place to put it. I wouldn't bother getting something locking -- I don't think anybody's going to snoop.

Mine are in a floral patterned box on the top shelf in my closet. I have two stashed in the den. The kids moved out last summer. We had no privacy at all when they lived with us. Nothing was safe. Unconciously I guess I'm still hiding the toys

Mine are hidden away in my drawers or some of the chests I have got from here. I can't keep anything out right now with my two year old getting into stuff. She already had got into a Eden tote that I had stuff in and that was the last straw. I keep easy stuff I can reach in my drawer though.

A big-assed mess on my bed, nightstand, and loosely-organized storage boxes. Also, under my bed and on the floor for those toys that have fallen off the bed.

If you can't guess, I live by myself.
