Female masturbation/ sex toy stigma

Contributor: miracletree miracletree
Do you think that there is a certain stigma that comes with owning sex toys? Do you think that there is a stigma about female masturbation? That only boys do that or good girls don't? That it is assumed or even encouraged in teenage boys?

This really varies depending on who and where you ask. There's certainly still some stigmas and odd assumptions, which is really a shame for those affected by them. Some women apparently don't even know that it's possible for girls to masturbate.

I'm going to say yes, but that I don't care. People are stigmatized for everything from the way they way their hair to the the way they raise their children. You can't let it get to you though because if it makes you happy and it's not hurting anyone else, then it's ultimately no one else's business.

I think that they younger the woman is, the more stigma that goes along with it. I think more girls are just afraid to begin than boys.
