I review toys for my blog and the site, but I almost always throw away the boxes/packaging ASAP. It just feels like clutter to me. I usually dont bother with the pouches either, and keep all my toys together in two bigger open boxes. The only exception is the NJoy boxes, since they are so incredible. So, what does you? It seems like the people who do video reviews always have the box on hand, which is impressive. Do you keep your boxes or store toys in them, or toss them out like I do?
Do you save your toy boxes?

I keep my boxes, but I mostly have lelos which are really nice boxes to me. I hardly use the pouches they come with, but I keep them in the box just in case I ever get a toy that doesn't come in some kind of container that's keep-worthy so I'll have something to store it in.
I keep all of mine in their original boxes in the bottom drawer of my bedroom dresser.
I don't really like the idea of having all my toys just out in a box all together. I'm sort of obsessive about keeping everything clean, neat and organized, and something about the thought of getting rid of their boxes violates that for me lol

I keep all my reusable packaging, like my LELO and nJoy boxes. I try to store those toys in their proper boxes, but they do take up quite a bit of room that way. I really need to find a better way of storing everything. I wish Tantus had reusable boxes, since I have so many of their toys and they're kinda sticky, too sticky for normal cloth bags.

.... I'm kind of a hoarder... I have a box filled with all the boxes from my toys, though ones that can be without harm are broken down to lie flat.

Right now I keep them since I don't have a toy box, once I do get a toy box I will probably throw most away. Except for my Gigi, the packaging is just too nice and everything I need for the toy can fit into it.

I have the same problem with Tantus toys. I do keep them in cloth bags, but they are a pain to get into the pouches I have properly. I keep all pouches that come with toys, but throw most boxes. I have only kept my icicles boxes so far, because they are pretty and will be worth keeping for the storing the glass when I move in a couple months.

I probably would for some toys.. the boxes are so pretty! But my fiance makes me throw them out.. we just don't have the room lol

It really depends on how effective they are for storage.
01/11/2012
I generally throw every part away. I keep any instructions just in case.
01/11/2012
Only if they would be decent for storage.
01/11/2012
I save my boxes, and I don't know why I'm doing that, I never reuse them.
01/11/2012
I keep the nice ones, like Lelo and Je joue.
01/11/2012
I keep them for a few months in case I need to return the item

I keep them all long enough to write the review generally, but some I keep longer because they're so nice. I still have my Zini Seed and MiMi boxes, and I use them both for storage. My MiMi box holds my perfumes in one convenient place. I think I have a few Njoy and LELO boxes floating around somewhere too. I almost hate getting nice packaging now because I don't want to feel bad about getting rid of them, lol.

Nice boxes (LELO, for example) go in the closet, sans toy. Packages that will keep a more delicate toy safe (VixSkin tubes) get to house their respective toys while staying in my toy box. Same for if a toy comes with a pouch or bag.
Otherwise, packaging and boxes get trashed, since I don't use them at all.

I toss all boxes except Njoy and NobEssence (and I use those for storing each respective toy). I keep pouches to put glass toys in to avoid nicks and scratches, but other than that mine are all either in boxes or Ziplock bags together.
If I'm doing a video review I'll try to keep the package long enough to do the video... but usually my anti-clutter side takes over and I throw it away I hate bulky random plastic, mostly.

I end up keeping all my boxes until I review the item. That way I can include a photo or talk about the packaging. I kept my Metal Worx boxes, Luxotiq box, and my JeJoue box, but that is because they are great boxes.
01/11/2012
I keep most of the boxes/original packaging for now until I can get some other pouches for the toys.
01/11/2012
i keep till done with the review, and pouches i keep regardless
01/11/2012
I usually throw the packaging away. The only exception to that would be my Lelo box and satin pouch. I love using satin pouches to store my toys because I don't like my toys to be rolling around unprotected in the storage box I use. Putting them in satin pouches just seems like a way to keep them cleaner and free of dust; it just seems more sanitary to me. I don't use my Lelo box for anything, but it was so pretty I couldn't bring myself to throw it away.
01/11/2012
I toss them too I have no space for the toys already so definitely have none for boxes or packages.
01/11/2012
It depends. I keep good sturdy packaging for storage, like the kind used by Njoy and Vixen. Others get recycled or thrown away.
01/11/2012
I save the nice packaging, although I don't always keep the toys in it. Like, I keep all my batteries in one of my LELO boxes while the vibrator itself lives in it's toybag in the toy collection area. The only toys I have that live in their actual packaging are my Alumina Motion, because the box is just too perfect and gorgeous, and my only cyberskin toy, because it seems like the easiest way to store such finicky material.
Oh wait, no, that's a lie. My Lone Star also lives in its original package. Bulky, but foolproof for not damaging the material.

I only save the Njoy boxes so far, but then again, those are the only luxury items I own right now...

I never keep the packaging, it takes up too much space. Nearly all of my toys are stored in small silk or cotton drawstring bags.

I only keep the packaging that looks like it should be kept (Njoy, Lelo, Je Joue, sometimes Fun Factory), but I throw all the seedy stuff away immediately.

I throw away most of the packaging after the review. I've kept the packaging for Njoy, Lelo (you need to keep the packaging to claim warranty), Nexus Istim, and now the icicles no. 8 (it doesn't come with pouch so...).
01/11/2012
It depends on the box but right now I don't really have any : ) I think with higher end toys the boxes are amazing and are in the must save category.
01/11/2012
the really nice ones like from lelo I save. the rest get thrown away
