I love them. While it's not a deal-breaker, water just makes for more fun. My wife is just the opposite...the water causes her to lose her natural lubrication and she loses any enjoyment due to discomfort. So if we have a waterproof toy, it's either coincidence...or it's a toy just for me...

Do you like using water proof toys?

I rarely use them in the water, but it makes it much easier for cleaning. I don't necessarily base my decision on weather or not a toy is waterproof, but if it is, then that's great.

Yep easy to clean without the worry!

Being waterproof gives me the ability to take it in the shower for some fun if I want to, but they don't have to be waterproof as a necessity b/c I use a lot of toys on the bed. It's just nice to have that option if I want it.

I like waterproof toys because they're easier to clean so I do tend to choose them most, but I never have enjoyed water play much. I don't know if my mind wanders too much or what, but I never can get too excited in the tub

Privacy? That is where our playtime (foreplay) starts!!! Scrub a dub dub. Also, obvious what each of us is thinking, by the "body parts" we spend the most time sanitizing for safe use!!!!

I've never used a toy in the shower, but if I had a waterproof one I probably would! However, all my lubes are water-based, so I'd probably need to invest in a different lube.

So true! I want a tub in my apartment so bad, completely waterproof toys would be amazing in the tub.

I like the idea that they are but I hardly ever actually use them in a situation where they would need to be.

I tend to find playing *IN* the water to be rather uncomfortable, but near the water, or in a hot shower with the water turned away is fine. If a toy has moving parts, I prefer it to be waterproof so that I have a harder time breaking it.

As long as it won't hurt the toy. Yes

Waterproof toys are also quieter than most other toys.

I like them, but I'm often disappointed in how "waterproof" a waterproof toy really is.
01/31/2012
Im the same i only buy waterproof
01/31/2012
I like waterproof mostly because they're easier to clean.

when I still lived with my parents and now that I have a toddler it's nice to sneak off for a long shower.

I don't own a single toy that ISN'T waterproof. It's basically the only place I can use them, as I have suitemates.
01/31/2012
In terms of vibrators I've yet to find a water proof one i like enough to use in the shower. Although I do use suction cup dildos in the shower from time to time.

ya waterproof is good for cleaning and shower play.

The majority of my sex doesn't happen in water, so it's not a huge deal to me. Leather gear and liquid don't mix. It's a nice feature, especially since there is always fluid and water based lube around, but it's not absolutely necessary.
I do like to have it around for certain occasions, so I'm looking into a waterproof harness. And of course I enjoy the fact that silicone can be submerged. But I don't take anything with batteries into the tub regardless.

This exactly. I can relax in the shower where I know I won't be interrupted and the running water drowns out obvious sounds...

I dont buy something if I cant use it in the shower
05/23/2012
It's nice to have the option to use them in the shower but on the flip side I know that when I go to clean them I can submerge them in water and won't have to worry about whether or not I just ruined my toy. I have a bullet that isn't waterproof and whenever I clean it, it just worries me.
05/24/2012
I wouldn't buy an expensive toy if it wasn't waterproof.
05/25/2012
I tend to dawdle in the shower anyway, so if toys entered into it, either the water would be freezing or someone would be pounding on the bathroom door trying to get in before I was finished. That said, I like it when toys are waterproof just because I'm less paranoid that one quick rinse is going to kill them.
