When you guys go out, be it for dinner, grocery shopping, or visiting a friend, do you take a sex toy(s) with you wherever you go?

I've never seen this question on Eden before, and considering that I pretty much live here, I thought it would be fair to ask you.

I feel like I'm a bit neurotic about this, but I don't leave my house unless I have my entire make up kit, a couple condoms, my vibrator, and phone safely tucked away in my purse. A friend asked why I carry a sex toy with me all the time, and I told her, "in case of an emergency." She and I were kind of confused by my response. I'm not exactly what kind of emergency would require a sex toy's assistance in the middle of, let's say the mall, but I feel I take at least one for comfort reasons.

Do y'all do the same? Or do you leave your toys in the safety of your own home?

I only take toys with me if I'm going to my boyfriends house. Usually I go straight over there, but sometimes I end up with a vibrator in my bag at school all day, or in my purse while I'm shopping. I don't bring them with me just to have though, I know I'll be using them later.

I'll take a toy or two if I'm going out of town for more than a day or two. (Actually about to make my first trip since I've gotten started collecting toys & debating which to take.)

Condoms, wipes, lube, etc. are always in my bag, regardless of where I am.

I have a bag in my diaper bag that I keep my 5 or so favorites in for more extended outings, and I keep JeJoue MiMi in my purse for those times that I don't have the diaper bag with me. You know, in case of an emergency.

I haven't actually decided which I am going to take with me on my upcoming trip... traveling by plane for the first time in forever, so I can't take a bunch. My immediate thought was Satisfy Her (My Review). It would be perfect for travel in many ways, but has a couple of downsides that I don't want to deal with.

Out of what I actually own & can comment on... Posh should be pretty travel-friendly as well as hard to destroy. The silicone on it is a thick enough coating that if you drop it it will probably just bounce a bit. The pastel colors don't scream "sex toy," it's waterproof, & only needs 1 AA. However, on 1 AA, it's not terribly powerful.

Unfortunately the vibe I really want to take with me has a power pack & so forth that might make it annoying to deal with. Still deciding...

EDIT: Oh, thanks for the reminder, bluekaren... I need to sort through things with bullets & see if any of those might be good for travel.

I appreciate all of your responses thus far I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that lol I sometimes think bringing a toy along with me everywhere is a bit silly, but I can never criticize someone who has condoms and other safe sex items handy, you never know!

i try to bring along my adorable Eden wipes and birth control pack with me as well. (so i guess that goes under paraphernalia?) and a bottle of toy cleaner.

I took a vibe with me on my last overnight, out-of-town trip, along with some lube and a few toy cleaning wipes. I'll happily do it again. It might be fun to keep a toy on me at all times, but I can't think of a normal outing when I'd have a chance to use it.

In my body, though, lots of the time.

Basically, if I need a quick masturbation session (whether I'm on the go, or staying the night somewhere that's not my home), I'll usually just rely on my fingers.

I used to carry one of those discreet vibrating little flashlights with me, but I hardly ever ended up using it while out. I don't usually bring anything with me unless I think I'll want to use something while I'm out.
