Do you buy items on EF without reviews?

I rarely buy anything without researching the product and reading reviews (if available). Money is too tight to waste on something that only looks good. Other people don't bother with reviews and just buy what they think they will like.

So do you buy products without reviews or not?

If it is from a company whose products I like and have not had any problems with then I will buy it without reading the review.

I am the same as you. Before buying a product, I'll study the information provided on EF's product page and on the manufacturer's website, and read as many detailed reviews as possible. If I'm buying an expensive item, I'll even message the reviewers and ask them whether they still favor the product or not.

It bugs the hell out of me when reviewers mention "the dildo/vibe/plug is thicker than expected" -- READ product information before you order, people!!!

The whole reason I came to Eden in the first place was because of the QUALITY reviews. Sure, some other sites have reviews, but not the sheer numbers seen here, nor do they have the high percentage of those that are extremely well written and informative. I think the single biggest thing going for this business is the reviews/reviewers and I am not belittling all the other reasons to shop here. However, I think nothing draws more people here than those reviews. Other sites offer discounts and offer rewards, or community, but none have as many truly helpful reviews as here! I bought one item with no reviews the day it came in stock, the Revel Body and I will simply say that I learned my lesson

Can't imagine not reading them! I always like to know what I'm getting myself into before I purchase.

I haven't bought a toy that has no reviews what so ever, but I have bought two that had FEW reviews. Otherwise I normally only buy items that I have a nice amount of reviews to check over.

Heh, I have bought one toy that was rather thick, but I read the product information and reviews so I knew it would be thick... It was just rather surprising that it was that thick with not really that much give unfortunately. (I still liked it but yeah) It's good sometimes to buy a toy thicker than expected since it can help you figure out what's too much for you.

We read the reviews to gather more information. Many times the reviewers will give information we are looking for. The reviews on Eden are much more informative than other sites.

I need to know the performance of a product that I'm wanting before considering getting it.

I only buy lingerie without reviews, because they are usually new items.

Wickend Wahine - Too bad the Revel Body was such a disappointment, especially considering the cost. Seems like a good concept.

There are a few things I'll throw caution to the wind on but I have to really see that the item fills a need in the bedroom. Otherwise, I sit back and wait for reviews.

I agree with this entirely!

I do Google products that aren't on EF, but if I'm buying a product that is/ever was on EF, I read every review that EF has for the product.

I don't buy products with no or few reviews, which, to be honest, is part of the reason why I avoid many newer toys.

I agree as well!! It's all the detail in the reviews that keeps me reading and helps me choose.

When I have done so the toys turned out to be AWFUL! One was quickly discontinued by EF. None of them were cheap, I've become a toy snob because of EF.... So my disappoint remains undiminished.
