Caring For Your Lover/Partner

How do you take care of your special someone when they are physically hurt or sick? How do you like to be taken care of when you are physically hurt or sick?

My husband wrenched his back at work yesterday. This is kind of a major deal as he has had sciatica problems in the past and at one point was rushed to the emergency room because of it. This is the first time he's experienced any kind of pain or illness since we moved in together and I have no idea how to make him comfortable or take his mind off of it. We have a pretty soft bed so that's out. The couch is kinda hard but I have a nice fluffy pillow and then there's the rocking chair which forces him to sit up straight.

I think a massage would compound the problem and prescription strength pain relievers and muscle relaxers are a no-go. What can I do to help him?

Cock ring & Bullet with Control Pack?

What should be the first (and really working) cockring?
Well, I can't say W/we have tried a lot of them, only a few, and so far nothing served the supposed erection enhancing function well... Any ideas or.

I have back problems also. I couldn't walk for a time due to it. As a man, my best advice is just to be there for him. Watch movies, ect. In time, he'll start to over-come the pain. Just don't let him force himself, but don't baby him either.

I am reluctant to make any suggestions regarding how to palliate his pain physically since I don't know the extent of his injury. However, I wold say you can appeal to his other senses. Dim the lights slightly so that they are not bright and harsh, play some comforting music that he enjoys, light an aromatic candle that has a soothing scent, and offer him some sort of treat like ice cream that he will enjoy. Pamper the other senses to take his mind off of his pain.

My boyfriend has ongoing back problems from breaking his back when he was younger. Although he doesn't experience any intense pain, it agravates him some days more than others.

I'm a nurturer by nature so I spoil him... Which I don't neccesarily suggest doing, because he'll end up like the spoiled brat mine is most of the time. BUT if you want to spoil him and make him feel better while he's feeling so shitty, you can do stuff like make him his meals and make life alltogether easier for him. Blow jobs and strip teases are always good because sex is usually out of the question. If you can't do back massages, I suggest hand, foot, and leg massages. And like markeagleone said... Spend time with him. He's going to get pissed off not being able to do the stuff he normally does so maybe go rent some movies that he might like and some video games if that's what he's into.

We will be having pizza and beer for dinner and I will rush to the car to help carry things when he gets home from work. I think it's more of a nagging pain than an out of commission pain, lower back.

He's at work and I as much as I want to be the one to do these things, he is responsible for bringing home anything we need. We only have one vehicle and I'm way too afraid to drive it. (Very big truck compared to my 5'1 frame. I'm lucky to see over the dash and keep my foot on the pedal.) Sooo, all I know to do is keep his spirits up.

He's having a particularly sucky day on top because a coworker called off, knowing he was hurt. He sits a lot at work but it's still production with lifting and a lot of upper body movement. Thankfully, he has a helper of sorts but with one employee not there, the resources are limited. Just feel so bad for him.

Hahaha, I think he'd tell me to get lost if he felt I was babying him too much. I do all of the cooking and cleaning as is but I do like the video game idea! He can kill stuff in Mass Effect when he gets angry about it!
