I'm all for a choice in colors, but it seems like so many toys are pink or purple. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice deep purple, it's very sexy. But I'm getting sick of seeing sex toys that look like Barbie could own them. I wouldn't be shocked if it was the top selling color, it's just not my cup of tea. I'll look for a toy like another one to avoid that pink color. Very rarely will I get pink, and it's normally because it's the only choice. What do you think? Tired of pink and purple or does the color not matter to you?

Looking at what I own, I don't have a single pink toy. I think there's only one that I want and it's that new Icicle tentacle toy, but if it came in green, I'd be the happiest girl in the world.

Yes, which is why I hope Taunts has a good run on their neon toys, and they decide to offer these color in more toys.
11/22/2010
I've had two pink toys, and the only reason I had those was because it was the only colour they came in. I'd really like more things to come in black or deep blue (I'm also rather fond of dark purples).
11/22/2010
I love pink and purple so it doesn't bother me. I also love red though and would choose that over the pink.
11/22/2010
I wonder why there can't be more blues and greens, or even just classic blacks.
11/22/2010
I like purple, but I wish more toys came in a greater variety of colours. I'd love some reds, blues and greens.

I've done a pretty good job of collecting toys that are orange, green, blue, or other colors that aren't pink or purple. I still have a lot of pink and purple toys, but sometimes I feel like it's a novelty to get one that's pink (especially a really rosy pink).
11/22/2010
I like pink, and I don't have a ton of toys yet so I don't feel too overwhelmed by pink. But I do tend to prefer colors that aren't super bright. Probably if I had my pick I'd want mostly white or silver.
If the toy is really good though, then I don't care what color it is.

I want all toys to be available in orange, green, red or blue on top of the pinks and purples!

It depends on shade. I'm sick of baby pink.

I hate it when things are over done, especially when they are over done to the point of being practiacally your only option.

I don't care for the pink and lavenders. I have one purple vibrator and the pink nipple suckers but that's it. I like the deep colors and the neons. They have some marble looking ones that look awesome.
like these two (not available yet) link and link
this one is pretty cool too (not available yet) link

I don't like the pastel pinks and purples but I like a nice rich purple. I think I only own 1 pink toy because I do tend to avoid them.

The toy design, if good, matters most to me. Bright colors are great, spicy colors too. I get why manufacturers stuck with colors they felt would sell best, (and pink is the bestseller, btw) but they are branching out now... it takes time for changes to cycle in, and sometimes the colors we like do not sell well at all for those companies. That said..if you've noticed, in the last few years, bold colors are coming into many new lines. Orange, lime, turquoise, melon, reds, even grays and navy. You are being heard!

I absolutely love the lime greens, true reds, navy blues—it's one of the reasons I love the LELO line, they don't let themselves be boxed in by pink alone.
Honestly, I will chose any color BUT pink—it is my effort at being the balance in the universe to Carrie Ann, the Queen of Pink!

I do prefer other colors, but again if a toy is just wonderful I'll take pink over nothing. Most of the really good toys seem to come in a wider/different set of colors, which is a plus.

I do get bummed when I see a toy I want and it only comes in pink or purple. If I want the toy enough, I'll get it anyway. Also, I have noticed that a toy I am not searching for will catch my eye if it is orange or green or black or red. I'm digging all the new toys that have come out in the charcoal grays too, or the coppers. I know when I went to order my Ryder, the only color in stock was the purple. I couldn't wait, so I ordered it, only to see it came back in stock a week later. My Ryder has held up perfectly, but I will admit that I want to get another one just so I can have it in black or copper.

Most of my toys are purple, which I used to love but am getting really sick of. I'm starting to like black, orange, red,and green a lot. Blue, not so much. I have no idea why, considering it's my favorite color, but I just don't like blue toys. Maybe I associate it with cold? I HATE being cold.

Don't get me wrong, I love pink and purple, (especially purple!) but I hate that they're usually the only colors available that I like. I would LOVE to see some toys in shades of green, and blue- particularly turquoise. I'm not a big fan or orange or red, but sometimes I am drawn to toys in those colors. I also don't see nearly enough yellow anywhere! I'd like to have toys in every color of the rainbow
11/23/2010
I'm such a big fan of pink, and I don't have many pink toys. A lot of blues and some green, one two purples... and two pinks, I think.
I wish I had some more pink ones... maybe a black one.. or white.

Here here! I want that too. I'm so sick of the pink and purples. When I see a rare color option I want the toy more.

I wonder why pink is the best seller. The only pink toy I wanted was Mia. Surprisingly I liked it more in purple than the shade of rose.

I do feel the same way as you do about toy design, but if I have more color options I want the toy even more and if the color I want is out of stock I'll wait on it.
11/23/2010
I'd like more green and orange toys. Even better would be multi-colored!
11/23/2010
I hate pink and I hate when I can only get a toy in pink. But I love purple. If a toy has a purple option, or something purple-ish, I'll pick that one. Thought I always say my vagina doesn't have eyes and it can't feel the color.
11/23/2010
Not tired of it, but it would be nice to have more options!
11/23/2010
Since I've always avoided "girlie" colors, it was nice to indulge in a few hot pink and deep purple toys at first, but I'm bored of that novelty now, and on the lookout for forest greens and deep blues.
11/23/2010
I love green and blue, and I'm thrilled when I can find a good toy in glow in the dark. Sadly it's normally more or a novelty then anything else, but some do glow. I was so excited when I saw that Tentacle Jr was blue and glowed in the dark.
