material is the biggest concern involving safety and sterilization. After that the others follow along based on the situation of the person and what they are looking for and willing to spend.

I totally agree with this and shop the same way!

Material first then shape (I tend to stay away from overly textured items) then vrooms. Cost is definitely a factor but I'd rather take the time to save up to own some good, quality toys that get the job done than a large quantity of mediocre quality toys that are just okay.

I actually consider most of these factors when choosing a toy, but I think the most important for me would be shape and size.

Material is most important to me because I'm allergic to certain ones and I just hate jelly at this point.

Shape comes first I'd say, only because that's usually how I shop/browse toys; look for a shape I'd like/enjoy and then check out the material. There definitely are materials I would never consider buying/using but my narrow down/shopping process usually follows the pattern of shape-material-cost.

The most important thing for me lately has been shape. I prefer a nicer material, but I am not completely opposed to using jelly or TPR.

Depends I have enough toys that I'm looking for something different or better then what i have but general for insertabale toys materials for external vibes vooms.

Material and then cost next.

Material and vrooms. Also noise.

Material,Vrooms and Cost

All of the above! But in order of importance:
shape > material > vrooms > cost > bees
shape > material > vrooms > cost > bees

shape
If i do not like it, it will not go into the basket, but of course that isnt the only factor.

Material is always my first concern and Bees my second with a vibrating toy.

Vrooms is most important to me but material comes close in second. I love safe materials but if the vroom is too weak, I won't use the toy.

Performance beats looks (but are also important to me)
01/04/2013
I consider all of these before I make a purchase, but definitely the material is what is most important.

I start my search by looking at things with a good design or high vroom, but I won't buy a toy with a low rated material regardless of the other factors.
02/01/2013
First, vrooms! Then material and design. Cost and bees are my least concern! If it's really expensive, I'll be patient and save up.

cost is a biggie
02/17/2013
shape and then cost...I think it's time to move up a size or three//
02/17/2013
Definitely material
02/17/2013
Material, then function
02/17/2013
Material, Reviews, Shape, then Cost. I won't buy something that I have to use a condom on but I also won't buy it if it doesn't have good/multiple reviews.

Material. Right now I'm saving up to get the Raquel. It's the shape, measurements, everything as my fave dildo, but silicone. My fave dildo is made of unsafe material and I have to use condoms. I'm really looking forward to the day I can call Raquel mine.
