Rechargeable toy compatibility for international buyers

Contributor: Linga Linga
Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to the site, completely toy obsessed and I also live in Australia.
Since coming to Eden Fantasys I've found myself asking one question over and over in my head.... Will the charger work here?
Now I realise that for the most part I will have to use a plug converter but there are some things from the U.S.A that just are not 240v compatible.
So I thought that anyone out there that knows if a toy can be used outside of the United States could post it here and this discussion might be a good resource for people asking the same thing.

I'm in Australia too and so far everything I have bought is 240v compatible!
From my understanding, if you go for the ones that have the larger box type plug, ya ok cause it converts it from the 100 to 240v for ya.
So ya just need the power adaptor for our power points.

I have a number of rechargeable toys.

Hi there fellow Aussie!

Well that’s good to hear, I've had problems with lamps and other bits and pieces I've bought from the States, like needing transformers that are big, expensive and sometimes have an annoying buzz grr

Yeah, I was worried about having to purchase one of those things. Soooooo glad we don't have to. If in doubt, you could just ask one of the people who have the item if they can tell ya what the box plug part says V wise. But as long as it has the box and not just the standard type plug, ya should be right.

Lelo toys are all good. I have a few of theirs that are rechargeable and they convert it for us. Yay.
Ya gotta love the rechargeable!
