I have found that a doggy-style position works well. One arm can go under you to hold the bullet, and the other arm can go beside and behind you to thrust with the dildo. Also, any thing with suction cups really helps.
You can also try keeping a bullet in place by closing your legs, so it won't slip. By lifting your legs up/at an angle you leave room for penetration. That works fairly well.
