After I read a book and decide to not keep it, a lot of the time it gets thrown away. Those I keep go into a plastic storage container. Those I have and haven't read yet are stored in containers or boxes.
What do you do with your books?

NOOOO! Never throw a book away. Donate them to a school or library, pass them off on a friend or just leave them somewhere like at a coffeehouse for someone else to find and deal with. Throwing out a book is like shooting a mockingbird, and everyone knows we should never kill a mockingbird right?

I donate mine to Goodwill

I tend to store all of mine on my bookcases, but right now my bookcases are overflowing, and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed by the clutter. I need to go through and donate a bunch soon.

I resell them or donate them. Goodwill and libraries both take donations of books.

Those I don't keep, I give away or donate.

After I finish a book I either turn around and sell it on half.com for some extra book buying money, or if it does not have a value that makes it worth selling I tag it with a Bookcrossing label and then leave it in a coffee shop or somewhere out and about for someone to find and read.

I trade them on bookmooch.
