How have you disguised your stuff when friends and/or family is helping you to unpack? Have you ever even needed to disguise it?

I have a couple large plastic tubs I use for moving (I'm in college, moving twice a year) and I wrap my toys in a town, put them in the bottom half, then put office supplies, tools, misc things that don't really get unpacked until I am alone.

I had a small locking suitcase, and just put it out of the way of other people.

You could write "Financial Records - Please Leave Boxed/Sealed" on the boxes.

The small ones go into a back pack that I wear and the larger ones like all my Liberator shapes just gets covered and moved as is.

We keep our personal stuff packed in our own car during moves. We unpack it after no one else is around.

We put them in a small box then put that in a bigger box marked bedroom. Most times we have moved people only help unpack boxes we ask them to. ie kitchen.

The boxes were easy to transport I just marked everything "spare bedroom" but it was the big stuff the wall mounts, tripods and other large items that could not be explained away as workshop hardware and photography equipment.
Ended up disassembling everything the night before and putting the stuff into a rental storage locker for a week whilst we moved everything else.

I had most of the toys with batteries in a locking makeup case, and everything else, like rope, crop, cuffs, etc. got put in a secret compartment in my bf's car. it all stayed there until everyone was gone, then we moved it in ourselves
they now all live happily under our bed, with the BDSM stuff in a big flat box that our ikea office cabinet came in xD
