How do you feel about the Pin-Up look?

How many of you like the Pin-Up look on a girl? Do you think its over done or cheesy? Do you just think that girls who say they have a Pin-Up body when really they just mean that they are fat/overweight and don't want to say they have a curvy or BBW figure. I think there really are girls who have 50s style Pin-Up body figures who look great in corset and other types of lingerie. Then there are girls who claim they do when they really don't and just don't want to say they are curvy or a BBW because its becoming so over used and common now. They just say it because they want to be different and unique. Like how everyone dyes their hair crazy color to be "different" and not because they want too.

I think the look is ok if done right but I think alot of the time it is over done and cheesy looking.

I really enjoy it myself, but I have a thing for anything retro. I like the era, not just the look =]

I think it looks cute. If any woman feels comfortable being a pin up--more power to her. It is not the body type as much as the attitude!

I like the look of it. I agree with js250 on that it's more attitude as opposed to body type

I think it's cute as well and I support the idea that it's more attitude than body type.

What's with the focus on body type?

Anyways, I like it.

Er I love how it used to look... I'm not sure how the actual enactment of Pin-Up is nowdays but looking at modern art of the Pin-Up look - it has become distasteful looking. More about exposing rather than looking erotic - and people seem to have lost the understanding that erotic doesn't necessarily equal nudity or showing nipples and vaginas. B| But this is just looking at artist renditions - how the models themselves still dress I don't really know anything about.

I love it, and I really want to be able to pull it off myself, but I'm too poor to afford buying new clothes like that.
