Personal Store FAQ

Contributor: cherryredhead88 cherryredhead88
So I am trying to start up my personal store, but there hasn't been a whole lot of info on them. I found a couple threads about when they were first started, but I haven't had much luck finding anything else. Thanks to Sir I was pleasantly aided in getting everything together But I am going to start this thread and maybe (if I'm lucky :p) some of my questions will be answered!

My first question is about adding videos to our products. I was wondering if it is alright to add video for a product that someone else did? I have added only my own so far but I don't know if we can add others'.

Bumpage. My second question is about taking pics of our toys, seems everyone has done this. Is it required?

just starting to play around with my personal store, incorporating it into a new blog. Since links on EF will link to my blog...does EF have any restrictions on my blog content? to be frank...for example could I post an x-rated pic of me with toy on my blog?

I'd say it would be fine on your blog. Your blog is your personal space to put what you please on.
And especially this being a sex site - I personally don't think there's a problem with doing that.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about, could you clarify?

For blog content in general, like Shellz31 said, your blog is your space. The only restrictions come from your blog's host. Some people here like to see a warning if there is nudity on a site, so if you linked to your site in a review, it might be good to have a little warning if there is an x-rated picture.

If you have any questions about your store, feel free to email partners@edenfantasys.com

Is there a more recent thread that has all the FAQ's answered about personal stores. I am trying to find some sort of link that explains how to set one up, how it works, etc but cannot find any

This and this are the closest I can find right now, but you can always ask Kris (Kris @edenfantasys.com) any questions you may have along the way.

There are two types of personal stores:

1. Onsite personal stores, like the ones seen here.

2. Eden Personal Stores (for your own website), which you can read more about here.

If you're interested in either of those store types, just email partners@edenfantasys.com.

One way is through the Community page. The stores are listed in the right column down below the reviewers list.

Another way is through people's profiles, but in this case you'd either have to know someone had a store or just stumble upon it. For example, if you go to this contributor's profile and click on the About Me tab, you can see her store below the profile info.

I hope you enjoy checking out the cool stores people have made here.
