I'm not sure I completely understand, so forgive me if I'm wrong...

You're saying that men and women are equal, yes? And your friend is saying that the woman has to do everything her husband says, because they're not equals?

I believe that the two are equal -- the women does not have to do everything that the husband wants, unless they've agreed to have that sort of dynamic.

I am not sure I completely understand either. Neither the wife nor the husband have to do everything the other wants with some exceptions (if they cross boundaries.) But when you are together, usually, you want to do everything your partner wants. There are no gender specific things at all. The wife isn't the submissive to the husband, unless that is their agreed up relationship. It works the other way around too.

A husband and wife are equal. They should be willing to explore eachother's desires purely out of love (unless too uncomfortable), but one should not have to blindly do as the other wants. It's about give and take. Equality.

This. People should take good care of each other because they want to, not because they're being ordered around! It should be a mutual thing, no matter what the genders of the people involved are.

If your friend wants to try new things, it is her right as a wife to express those feelings and be respected for it. what is she wanting to try?
