It's too typical for us. We like to make our own romantic memories rather than things that have been done and are just too typical. I like new unique and wild stuff and I'm pretty sure he'd much prefer just having me in a bed the roses wuoldn't make anything extra special.

Now I used to like the hotel jacuzzi idea until I worked at a hotel.

I would love to do something beachy though! Now that would be my idea of hot.

Our anniversary getaway was march 12 - 13, he loved the rose petals leading to the bed and alot on the bed, he didnt use the tub which made me so mad that i spend $100 lol. but he was suprised =] and had a good day/evening

I'm not sure about rose petals for him. His idea of a great surprise would be me butt naked asking him to stick it in, his choice of where. Rotfl. For me I imagine he'd do something along the lines of the rose petals. Although, if you used the rose petals, had a nice dinner ready and wore some nice lingerie he'd probably really appreciate it.
