Self esteem and breast implants
Would you ever consider getting breast implants to improve your self esteem

I think I would be more inclined to consider a 'lift' rather than implants. I would advise anyone considering a medical procedure, especially for aesthetic purposes to do their research and make the best informed choice.

There is absolutely nothing I would willingly do to my body for reasons of appearance that's more intrusive than piercing my ears.
My self esteem is entirely dependent on my intellect, and surgery requires drugs, and drugs hang around in your system making your brain all foggy for months. No, thank you. I'd rather look like the love child of Jabba the Hutt and Chewbacca than take even the slightest risk with my precious brain cells.

I'm with ya on that. I plan on doing something after I'm done with child bearing-granted I can't get it back after trying. Idk if that will mean breasts, but my point is that if something needs to be fixed in more than a minor way, I'd be wanting to do it. I would never do anything at this age though.

Nope, but I'm already a DD so implants would just look ridiculous on me and make my shoulders cry out in pain from carrying those things around all day. If I ever do have children and breastfeed though, I may get a lift afterward just to put everything back where it was.

No way would I go with implants. I am big enough as it is. Lift, maybe. Or perhaps even a reduction.

I thought about a reduction when I was younger. My body hadn't quite grown into my breasts yet and they were a lot for my more narrow frame to handle. My mom is 5'1" and generally petite with DDD's and she's always so uncomfortable and I didn't want to be that way. But once I got taller and my hips and shoulders broadened to where they are now, they are actually pretty nicely proportional. I know girls that have done it and wouldn't trade it for anything though!

I'd prefer to have a self-esteem implant.

I don't have a problem with self esteem but I would just like larger breasts. I have been opposed to it but now I am seriously considering it.
I have seen terrible boob jobs so I am cautious.
I am a B and would love to be a C. I also don't want my boobs to cause discomfort in my athletic activities; running and kickboxing.
I know that we may be a a boob obsessed society but I like lager boobs.....

I'd like a lift and up one size so they are nice and firm once again.

I'd have a reduction...definitely not implants.

Nope, it's not my sort of thing. Besides, my boobs are big enough as it is! lol

I'm already close to having DD's, so I wouldn't get implants. Actually I'd never get them anyway because I think I'm fine the way I was made, and I'd like to stay natural. But if there were ever emergent and medical problems, I might get a reduction.

If anything I'd want a breast reduction and have a flatter chest. My size is just too average and common so it's hard to find any of my size bras in stock.
10/21/2010
I wouldn't. I have thought about it from time to time but I just don't feel as if it is worth it. Plus to me natural breast are far more attractive looking, I just can't see myself with big round hard looking things on my chest.
I'm fine with the way I am and it's easier for me to use the Avon breast cremes to perk up the breasts a bit if I need to.

After children, if my breasts are quite different, I would consider it, especially if I had the money for it.

I've thought about getting them since it's often hard to find bras in my size that don't look like they are for 12 year olds. I just worry about the recovery time involved. I have a pretty physical job so I don't think I'd be able to go back to work right away after the surgury.

As much as I may hate my breasts for their size difference and baby abuse (Breastfed for just over thirteen months before my daughter weened herself), I would never be able to do surgery. I'm me, defects and all, not that I'm against it for others, just for me.

i know down the track that i am almost certain to get some kind of implants/lift on my breats or some other part of my body (stomach maybe) after im done have kids and want to try to get my body back close to how it is now

I would get a lift, but not implants. I'm already sporting F cups, so I don't need to go up a size!
I don't notice them being droopier after having my son and breastfeeding for a year, but they've always been kind of droopy - perky F cups are like unicorns. They don't exist, and if they do, they're fake. lol

I just spat my coffee out!! hahaha!

I certainly don't need any more, but a 'lift' might not be out of the question at some point in the future.

I don't necessarily think it has to do with self esteem but I have wanted to get a boob job after having 3 lil ones and the gaining and loosing weight. I think mine shrank in the process. Hubby's just as happy with them but he wouldn't mind them being bigger either. With 3 kids I just can't see spending that kind of money on something unnecessary.

I like my small boobies. I can wear some shirts with no bra.. It's awesome

My self esteem has nothing to do with my tits. I love my tits, and if I needed surgery to make myself feel better about my body that would be way depressing.

I'd like a lift and a shift. I have a hard time making cleavage because they are spread apart. :/
