I ended up going to the Gyni today to find out what was going on with me.. She believes that I have a cyst on my left ovary, and if I have been feeling this dull ache for a while, it's been going on for a while (This past Sunday was bad, it ended up going into my back and I didnt want touched at all). Ended up finding out I have a UTI as well (didnt know it.. but now I I dont feel so great now, just like bleh). Went over my options, and I'm going back on the 17th to be checked again. If it hurts badly to come in sooner or go to the ER.
We got to talking about other things as well. She thinks I may be one of the 5% having worse issues with my mirena (which makes me sad because it is a great form of birth control). I'm almost 150 lbs. My normal is 116. I'm constantly itchy, basically taking benydryl so I can try to get some sleep in peace (Cause I'll tear up my skin at night). and some other things.
So my hubby and I are discussing our options tonight and I'm looking at my options for other birth control. I'm looking at Ortho Lo (I was on this before when the patch caused me issues after my son), or the Nuva Ring.
So Nuva users, what do you think of this product? How easy is it to put in (I dont use tampons)? Does it come out easily?
