While I was pregnant, it was the cravings. Ice cream sundaes at all hours when pregnant with my eldest (and a very obliging husband), red pears and Lay's potato chips with my youngest. I think I lived on pears and chips for days on end.

I remember sleeping like all day and night in the beginning and my bf would always get bk and if I smelt them I would want to die. I didn't have a problem before I was pregnant even after! Just during I would want to throw up and my sense of smell was enhanced SO MUCH!

My mother was a lot like this. We were just having a convo about this the other day and I remember her getting so upset if we had candles lit in the house or if we were eating fish. She couldn't take the smell of tuna or even fried trout. We always had to go out (we are sea food lovers). She would just start throwing up if she smelt it.

With my oldest son I craved mexican food, and Cheese-its. Now he loves mexican anything and hates most everything else.
With my youngest son I craved strawberry PopTarts all the time, until that one faithfull day that my stomach decided enough was enough. I have not eaten strawberry poptarts since.

I had most of those, but the one that stands out is the food aversion. I normally love, love, love my coffee. My OB approved of my having a small amount (1 - 2 cups) a day, slightly more if it was decaf. My son, however, had other ideas! I found that around 4 or 5 weeks into the pregnancy I didn't like the taste of coffee anymore. I was so depressed!

My son was born early in the morning, so my first meal after giving birth was breakfast. I had a sudden craving and asked for a cup of coffee, and that was the best darn cup of coffee ever!

I didn't have bad morning sickness. It was there, but not every single morning and wasn't terrible. I've never had heartburn a day in my life except for during both pregnancies so when I got heartburn the 2nd time, I knew for sure! Also, I've never heard of this before, but instead of being ill or agitated and snappy, I became a nice and almost needy kind of girl! I'm totally opposite. Lol. It was weird, but during both pregnancies I had the strangest calm feeling and would want my partner near me soooo badly! I would day dream of snuggling and I'm not like that much at all. Lol. So the second time when I started feeling that calm, needy happy feeling (which is nice though) it was one of the reasons I realized I was pregnant! I don't know why, but I seem to be opposite of what most pregnant women are. I did get way more emotional than usual and often would cry over movies and have strange happy cries. Again, not usual for me.

I'm a bit of a picky eater and another major thing I experienced was real changes in my cravings. I normally hate any kind of sweet or flavored chicken and can't even stand the smell, but during both pregnancies I craved Asian chicken daily and even started liking pineapple chicken. I figured it would fade after the pregnancies, but I ended up still liking it every once in a while. I rarely crave it, but I like it now.

Lots of peeing! I counted 12 pees in one night during my last preg. Lol. I was going crazy. My areolas weren't majorly darkened, but my crotch area was! Sorry for the yuck details. I painicked when I first noticed it. It was purpl-ish and I thought something was wrong until I got to reading my info from my Dr. and realized it was normal. I'd never heard of it before that and still never hear of it being a symptom.

With my son I had all the energy in the world and ate everything in sight. I didn't feel any symptoms at all. With my daughter, I couldn't open my own fridge for 3 months because the smell was horrible. I was always so tired and never wanted to eat a thing.

I have tender nipples and itchy breasts as a first symptom....it's ALWAYS the first symptom for me. Then come the demon mood swings so bad it has threatened my marriage all three times and caused my partner to want to perform a vasectomy on himself with a butter knife. I am NOT a happy pregnant woman!
I had rashes, acne, constipation, swollen and irritable bladder, swollen feet, aching everything and mood swings LOTS of mood swings! I was also incredibly aggressive when pregnant with my son and HORNY.....my gawd I was so damn horny. The real problem was my partners were sore from having their heads bitten off and weren't in the mood for sex....
Siegl has warned Arch and I that if I get pregnant again I am living with him for the FULL pregnancy and he will visit on the "good" days!

...and I'd do it all again, no question!

I was seriously ill throughout my pregnancy with toxemia. I was on bed rest from month four until they took my daughter a month early due to lack of heartbeat. Thank goodness she survived!!

My pregnancies were both a bit different. For both, when I was early on, I didn't even realize I was pregnant. I felt just the same as I would if I was about to get my period... crampy, a little bloated, tired, and hungry.

With my first, I got awful headaches in my first trimester and nausea (but hardly ever threw up). Food cravings here and there but they weren't too bad. Pubic Symphysis Separation pain and lower back pain in the third trimester... a lot. In my 8-9th month my stomach was insanely itchy. No amount of lotion or anything helped.

With my second, I had nausea and threw up a lot. Major fatigue...but I had a 6 month old when I got pregnant, sooo, that explains that. Horrible Pubic Symphysis Separation pain and back pain with that pregnancy, much worse than the first.

Despite everything, I really love being pregnant.

I had most of these - plus I was pregnant with twins and had preeclampsia - was in the hospital for one week (which I don't remember cause I was so drugged to keep labor stopped).

Wound up giving birth 22 days early - via. cesearean.

The last 3 months of my pregnancy I was basically down to wearing two dresses - size 40 & 44 woman and the last month of my pregnancy it was a nightgown and one of those dresses if I had to go out.

I measured full term at four months if I remember right...five months tops.

All of the above!! But the nausea and intense sense of smell were the worst. My poor husband had to give up coffee entirely the whole time I was pregnant; I just couldn't tolerate the smell.

Almost as soon as I got prenant I could not stand the smell of raw beef, a smell I usually love. I figure it was my bodys way of telling me not to eat it.

With my son I had such violent morning sickness that I lost 20+ lbs from the constant throwing up and lack of appetite. It wasn't as bad with my current pregnancy (only lost 12 lbs with her), but with both I had wicked bad heartburn.

The worst symptom I had with my son though was PUPPs. Honestly, there is no way I can describe just how painful and miserable it is. Some of the few people I know who've had it have said it was so unbearable to where they considered checking themself into a supervised institution for fear of hurting themself. It's just... BAD.

I only made it to six or seven weeks before I had a miscarriage, but my symptoms were: constant mild nausea (thankfully, no vomiting), I got wet VERY easily, my breasts felt heavy, and my nipples stuck out constantly and hurt.
