Babies also usually accompany pregnancy and many physical changes in a woman's body that allows her to push the sucker out.

But in all seriousness, I've seen people take things up to 5 inches across without injuring themselves and with enjoying it. I think it depends on your pelvic limits more than anything else, since if you go slow and stretch over a long period of time, your body can accommodate.

My understanding is that the majority of women can take 2" in diameter. Beyond that, I'm guessing the upward limits are an individual thing. In any case, going above your comfort zone should always be done carefully and slowly, and never force anything inside yourself - if it's not comfortable, you need to back off and slow down.
