I have started the pill this year and have used a couple other methods in the past. I was just wondering what type of method you other ladies choose and why?
What's your current method of birth control?

My husband wears condoms. Besides using condoms for birth control, I'm allergic to his sperm, so he wears condoms to prevent his semen from contacting my body.

i'm a lesbian and my partner is biologically, anatomically and gender identified female. Pregnancy from the type of sex i have is biologically impossible.

I no longer need it but I have used the pill, depo and an IUD.

Currently pregnant (on purpose), but I used the patch for about a year, and then the ring for the next 7 years.

Implanon. It's been great, other than the fact that it seems like as soon as I stop bleeding I start right back up again.

We said none. For some reason, even though we both have children for previous marriages, our "stuff" doesn't seem to work together.

I use the NuvaRing. I like it because I don't have to worry about a daily pill -- I can kind of "set it and forget it". I also find it really helps smooth out my cycle and reduces period pain/PMS craziness (I still get a little teary, but not quite as bad). I've gone off it during dry spells in the past because even the copay used to be too expensive, but thankfully with the ACA I can fill it free. I've never used it as a stand-alone birth control, though, so can't speak to that (I am all about condoms/dams/gloves).

Condoms. Gained a lot of weight and had skin reations after 5 years of on the shot.

my wife chose the IUD without hormones.

I use condoms. I have sex fairly infrequently, so I haven't been able to justify getting on the pill and not having sex. Also, hormonal birth control kind of scares me.

I was on the pill but have been off it for a couple months (hormonal reasons - not trying to get pregnant) but I've always used condoms in conjuction. I'm a bit paranoid and figure it's best to be safer than sorry. But for now, we're just using condoms. Some condoms with the sperimicide too but I can react to the spermicide so not a big fan of those ones.

We use male condoms.
