What could it be?

Sometimes when me and my husband are having sex, I'll feel my orgasm building up and building up. And then I'll get this pain in my chest, right where my heart is, that hurts so badly I have to stop the sex all together. And sometimes it has even happened when I'm just sitting/laying on the couch watching tv. Any idea what it could be?

I would not put off seeing a cardiologist. Chest pain that is not related to muscle pulls is a warning sign. Make a doctor's appointment, pronto.

Don't EVER ignore chest pain or try to figure it out on your own. Go to the doctor.

Please see a doctor! I kept putting off going to the doctor when I was having chest pains and then one day out of no where I was at the hospital with a heart attack. Take chest pains seriously, I am a big supporter of the American Heart Association and have learned that heart attack symptoms present differently in a woman than a man. Take care of yourself and be well!

Well I did go to my doctor once and he said it was to much soda, which I had like maybe 1 soda a day. Now I drink mainly Crystal Light or Tea and it sometimes still happens.

Keep going to different doctors or even consider seeing a specialist until you're satisfied with what the doctor has to say. If you don't feel you've recieved an adequate explanation, schedule another appointment. You know your body better than anyone else and if it's causing you concern then that should be your number 1 cue that something might not be right. Get it checked out not only for yourself but for everyone who cares about you. Once the heart is damaged, it's permenently damaged and there's no fixing it. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully it's only something minor! =)
