Vaginal reconstructive surgery/plastic surgery?

Contributor: ToyGurl ToyGurl
I'm sure you have all heard about it by now, but vaginal reconstructive/plastic surgery is sweeping the nation. Women want to have less lips, a flat vulva, and want to be as tight as a 16 year old. They are going to EXTREMES to do this. Surgery is one of those extremes. You'd think their vagina was a second belly!

So my questions are:

1. Would you ever consider vaginal reconstructive surgery to make yourself tighter?

2. Would you ever consider vaginal plastic surgery to improve the look of your vagina? Why, and what parts?

maybe, I am undecided. Right now as my vagina/vulva is naturally, I love it. but with more kids and possible injury's to the area that could cause issues I would consider it for comfort or function. As of right now I am still a little pissed that the dr decided to put in the extra stitch when I got a second degree tear having my son, I am still very tender in that spot.

I am very happy with my vulva's appearance. I would never consider any kind of plastic surgery in that area. Now, if I have children, and I am injured or another serious issue comes up during childbirth, I could see getting things put back where they used to be, but that's more reconstructive surgery than cosmetic, IMO.

Its the stitch and not the tear that is tender? I had a substantial episiotomy and I'm told I had many stitches. It still hurts in that area during sex if nothing has been inside me for awhile.

My vagina and vulva will stay the way they are. I like everything that's going on down there and there's absolutely no need to go messin' with it.

the tear scar has healed well, but that last little edge of it is very tender and bleeds every now and then

One or another of my girlfriends have considered that, so that she would HAVE a vagina. But you know what? It's the person I'm attracted to rather than the plumbing that they carry.

My wife is in her mid-40s and her labia reflect her life's experience - but we both love that. After years of shaving - she getting a complete Brazilian laser job done to show off her sex bits - absolutely beautiful.

I would do that only I if I have a baby and something traumatic happens. *knocks on wood*

I know what you mean. At the center last week I saw a woman whose vaginal canal basically turned into her anus during childbirth... poor gal. However, this is a really common injury to new mothers. Especially those with large babies and twins.

i can understand why someone would want to change the look of their vagina and their tightness. i like my vagina but i wouldn't mind going under the knife to 1. make it tighter and 2. keep it young looking. i don't have to succumb to old age!

For tightness can't you just do Kegels? If its to repair something horrible that happened, maybe yeah.

I hope mine are C-sections, might be either way cause I'm told I am very small and stubborn down there. Who knows.
