Also if he takes something you're allergic to (penicillin, etc) and you have a SEVERE sensitivity to it, it could cause irritation. Some foods may affect you too.

You can actually be allergic to some men's semen!
For a period of time, I think I had a slight allergy to My Man's semen, while I was on the Pill, (the Pill didn't cause it, but he was coming inside all the time. Either because of the Pill or The Sponge and I developed and allergy to his particular proteins.) Oddly, it didn't effect me if I got semen in my mouth, so it may have been either dryness from the Pill and/or allergy to spermicide when I was using that. It lasted years.
We went some years without his coming inside and I don't have the problem anymore. (He rarely comes inside though, only during my period.) It may have been due to dryness from The Pill and/or an allergy to spermicide from foam and the Sponge, though, as my allergies rarely go away like this one did.
You will want to see your doctor! If it is his semen, and you end up wanting kids, they can do something to it to take out the proteins from semen, but save the sperm. Also, you'll want to know if you are allergic to his proteins.
Does it bother you if you get it in your mouth? If your mouth swells or gets itchy or burns, it could well be an allergy.
It could be from an allergy to a medication he's taking or even a food he's eating. I don't ever swallow or even let him come in my mouth if he's had shrimp or other shellfish. I'm violently allergic to shellfish and I can't take the chance. (The result is The Man is eating a LOT less shellfish as time goes on.... )
