So, I recently noticed most of the razors I use to shave my coochy are straight disposable ones, I'm looking for a razor that most women would highly recommend for shaving the pubic area, I shave it all off and have noticed ingrown hairs with the razors I use. I just bought these new noxzema twin blade pivot shaped ones they seem to make the shave more comfortable. i also switched to using coochy creme shave cream and that seems to be working too. Any help on what razors to buy?

I use my husbands razors. Any brand, non disposable. The mens work better I think because they are made for coarser hair?

That is what I am using right now, Gilette Fusion proglide. And incase you did not know, it works so much better if you soak in a warm bath for atleast 10 minutes first, it really softens the skin up for a better shave.

I agree. We don't even call them his razors, they're OUR razors... Right now we've got the Gillette Hydro 5, which I really enjoy because it's great for getting a good grip on it and it's a nice close shave. Prior to that, I was with the other girls and the ProGlide, again another great option.

I also normally use his Gillette Sensitive Skin Shaving Gel or I'll opt out of that altogether to use some of my hair conditioner, because it makes everything so smooth.
Ingrown hairs are just kind of fact of shaving, but there are a few things you can do to minimize them, such as:
- Dry off really good in every nook and cranny
- Some women find it helps if they run an anti-perspirant in any areas where their underwear may rub
- Don't rub when you're drying, just gently pat
- Use a fresh blade whenever possible (I don't follow this rule...)
Hope that helps.

i use shick for women (the ones with changeable blades) they do not pull on the hair and the are easy to clean and i have noticed less ingrown hairs and irritation

I like the Venus razors, but more importantly, are you using a brand new razor every time? Dull blades can cause ingrown hairs.

I've heard about this one too, though never personally tried it. Have you ever noticed an increase in itchy bumps after a scrub?
