When to give up on this idea?
I bought the Tantus Beginner C Ring, was excited to get it and try it, but after getting my package into it, and becoming aroused, it did nothing for.

I have little knowledge of penis pumps so I have no idea if they have any risks. But when I imagine pumping my penis to make it larger I get paranoid.

I've heard that you really shouldn't have sex during a yeast infection, though you may want to ask your doctor to be 100% sure.
Honestly, I wouldn't even want to. I tried to use one of my toys during an infection I had back in September and it hurt like hell. It was like body was saying, "Nope. Not happening, don't even try."

I would think it would be too painful.

Yeah, I wouldn't. I waited until after I had finished a 7 day treatment before I did again. It would have been too painful.

I wouldn't, you risk infecting your partner or causing a re-infection if your condition has started to clear.

I think that sex during a yeast infection is a really bad idea! I know when I get a yeast infection, it is frequently due to having too much sex in the first place. This is because bacteria will get rubbed in and it can cause re-infection. I also can't imagine wanting to have sex due to the pain!

However, I suppose if you were going to, it would probably be best to use a water based lubricant. I know that sometimes oil based can cause infections more easily.

Keeping in mind that water-based lubricants can contain glycerin, which might aggravate the problem. If you are going to do it, stay away from lubes with glycerin in them, along with oil-based lubricants.

If you have any type of infection sex and toy use should be discontinued. If you have porous toys I would probably toss them so you aren't reinfecting yourself.

It is ok, but keep in mind that if you are using a cream to treat it could irritate a males penis, and you do run a small chance of infecting your partner.

Bad idea. It hurts, can extend the infection and infect your partner. Best to wait unil it clears.
