I have a tipped uterus (my uterus is tipped towards the back instead of being normally in a down position) and it makes sex painful. The pain kind of comes and goes and it makes me afraid to have sex at all. Does anyone else suffer from this condition? I've heard there are some positions that can ease the discomfort, but for the life of me can't find any real information on it.
I'm heading to my gyno's ASAP but seeing as how it's a Saturday, I thought I'd seek advice from the lovely ladies here
Cheers!

I do have the same condition actually which is why we thought it would be next to impossible for me to get pregnant...heh.
Try being up on your knees or on top where you can control the angle of penetration if it's really painful. For me I like the, well I don't want to say pain cause it's more of an extra sensation than pain for me. My cervix isn't as touchy as some other women's are but if the uterus contracts it does seem to be more painful that other women I have talked to, my Doc. says that's natural with the way mine is tipped.
Be sure you are very excited when you start so that the area is engorged and don't use vigorous thrusting to start off with, both of these seem to help me more than anything else. A warm bath or shower after sex can minimize the discomfort later as well.
Hope that helps!
